Australian buyers were active on day one of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale on Tuesday, with Price Kent Racing striking early, teaming up with Dermot Farrington, to go to 110,000 guineas for a son of Frankel (Galileo). Sold by Highclere Stud as Lot 6, the colt is out of winning mare Eminently (Exceed And Excel), a half-sister to dual Group One winner Reverence (Mark Of Esteem).

Avenue Bloodstock, Bjorn Baker Racing and Clarke Bloodstock went to 105,000 guineas for a colt by Australia (Galileo) who was offered by Barouche Stud as Lot 33. The colt is the second foal out of the unrated mare For Now (Lawman), a half-sister to stakes winners Freedom's Light (Galileo), Oh Beautiful (Galileo) and Face The Facts (Nathaniel).

Later in the day Kern Lillingston Association and John Foote Bloodstock secured a daughter of Nathaniel (Galileo) for 78,000 guineas. Sold by Kilminfoyle House Stud as Lot 120, the filly is a half-sister to Group Two winner Montaly (Yeat) being out of stakes place Le Badie (Spectrum).
