Songbird foaled a filly by Tapit.
Songbird (Medaglia d'Oro) foaled a filly by Tapit (Pulpit) on Sunday Kentucky-based Timber Town Stables tweeted earlier this week.
"Songbird gave birth to her second foal, a bay Tapit filly, on Sunday morning. Both mare and foal are doing well, and Songbird is again showing us what a lovely mother she is," the tweet read.
A daughter of former Darley shuttler Medaglia d'Oro (El Prado), Songbird won 13 of her 15 starts with nine of those victories coming at Grade 1 level seeing her crowned Champion 2YO and 3YO filly in the US in 2015 and 2016 respectively.
She was bought for US$9.5 million by Mandy Pope's Whisper Hill Farm at the 2017 Fasig-Tipton The November Sale.
Songbird's first foal was a filly by Arrogate (Unbridled's Song).
