The Graham Motion-trained Sharing (Speightstown), who won the 2019 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (Gr 1, 8f) has been retired following a paddock injury.

The four-year-old was bought by Eclipse Thoroughbreds for US$350,000 at the 2018 The Saratoga Sale and raced by Eclipse and Gainesway Farm. She ran nine times for five wins and three placings, including a second in the Coronation Stakes (Gr 1, 1m) at Royal Ascot and a third in the American Oaks (Gr 1, 9f),  with her earnings totalling almost US$1.1 million.

By Speightstown (Gone West) she is out of fellow Grade 1 winner Shared Account (Pleasantly Perfect) and is a half-sister to Listed scorer Riley’s Choice (Distorted Humor).

"Sharing was a special filly in every sense of the word," said Eclipse president Aron Wellman. "She was bred to be special being by a Breeders' Cup winner and out of a Breeders' Cup winner. Even her dam's sire was a Breeders' Cup winner.”
