Jukebox Retired To Aquis Farm

3 minute read

Group winning Jukebox is the newest son of Snitzel to start a stud career.

Jukebox will be a late addition to the spring roster at Aquis Farm in the NSW Hunter Valley.

He has been retired after a deal brokered by Belmont Bloodstock with his breeder Neville Duncan electing to remain in the horse along with Colin McKenna who raced both Merchant Navy and Jukebox with Ciaron Maher.

Jukebox was undefeated in two starts as a juvenile including the Listed Inglis Premier and returned as a 3YO to win the G3 Vain Stakes at Caulfield.

Jukebox racked up a further three Group placings in a brief career of just eight starts including a second to Catchy in the G2 Danehill Stakes and second to Formality in the G3 Blue Sapphire Stakes.

Jukebox is from the Jestatune, a daughter of Golden Slipper and leading speed influence Rory’s Jester who also the broodmare sire of top sire Not A Single Doubt (Redoute's Choice).

A half-sister to G1 winner Ihtsahymn, Jestatune is from the stakes winning juvenile Umatune, a daughter of Umatilla.

Jukebox will open his stud career on a fee of $10,000 plus GST.
