Veteran sire More Than Ready continues to astonish with his fertility. Vinery Stud reports that he has enjoyed another week of 100% fertility, the fifth time for the current season.

Recognised as the world's most prolific sire of winners, More Than Ready has sired more than 1740 individual winners, approximately 100 more than the late and great Danehill (1615).

More Than Ready is also currently fifth on the all time stakes winners list with 190, behind Danehill, Sadler’s Wells, Galileo and Danzig.

"More Than Ready’s record speaks for itself. His popularity worldwide is best demonstrated by the fact that he has a full book of mares waiting for him in Kentucky with a long waiting list to get in,” said Vinery’s Adam White.

“He is getting through his book here with great ease, going through multiple weeks with 100% fertility.”

More vThan Ready has had some promising two-year-olds hit the trials in recent weeks.

The Chris Waller trained Still Single was a recent Flemington trial winner while Bjorn Baker unveiled Miss Amelia, a daughter of Amelia’s Dream to win a Rosehill trial.

In the last three years More Than Ready has averaged over $200,000 at Australian yearling sales with his youngsters selling for up to $1.3million.

The More Than Ready x Purespeed colt made $1.3 million at 2017 Magic Millions and a More Than Ready colt from Sugar Babe sold for $675,000 at Magic Millions in 2018.

More Than Ready is now enjoying acclaim as a sire of sires, with his freshman son Better Than Ready leading the first season table by winners.

Well Prepared became Better Than Ready’s fifth winner for the season when he won at the Gold Coast on November 28.
