An outstanding line up of prospective racetrack stars will be on offer when the 2019 Magic Millions Perth Yearling Sale is held for the first time at the new Swan Valley complex on February 18 and 19.

The new sales ground in Middle Swan is the new home of Magic Millions in WA with the opening sale featuring a quality catalogue of 310 lots.

Past graduates of the MM Perth Yearling Sale include Group One winners Black Heart Bart, Boom Time, Silent Sedition, Great Shot, Scenic Blast, Moment of Change, Magnifisio, Eagle Regiment and Scenic Shot.

Among this year’s pedigree highlights are half, three quarter or full relations to Group winners Elite Belle, Playing God, Eagle Way, Motion Pictures, Agent Pippa, Dainty Tess, Lucy Mae, Salsonic, Samovare, Hobart Jones, Vampi Lass, Art Series, Miss Admiration, Variation, Chantski and Missy Longstocking.

The catalogue contains progeny by 76 individual sires with strong interest surrounding the stock by eight freshman sires.

They include highly credentialed local sire I’m All the Talk, who has the biggest representation with 25 lots.

More than 90% of the yearlings catalogued are eligible for either the Westspeed Platinum or standard Westspeed scheme. Some 69 lots are NSW BOBS eligible and all lots offered are eligible to be paid up for the $11 million plus Magic Millions Race Series.

Book 1 of the 2018 sale averaged just under $64,000 and Book 2 averaged $26,000.
