Elusive Quality colt Elusive Bluff made it two wins from as many starts when taking the Grade 3 Pilgrim Stakes (1700m) at Belmont overnight.
A $275,000 Keeneland weanling, the colt later sold for just $50,000 as a yearling at the same venue in 2007.
After winning his debut at Belmont on September 5, he was sold privately to Southern Equine, who are now tossing up a start in either the Breeders' Cup Juvenile or Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf.
Elusive Bluff is from the Pine Bluff mare Megans Bluff, a multiple stakes winner of $US743,000 in earnings.
