Keeneland has catalogued 1555 lots for the 61st January Horses of All Ages Sale.
The sale will be held from January 7 to January 10 and features 701 broodmares and broodmare prospects, 597 yearlings, 252 horses of racing age and five stallions with supplementary entries still be accepted.
The headline lot among the mares is six-time G1 winner Abel Tasman, catalogued as a broodmare prospect for sale on the opening day.Keeneland vice president of racing and sales Bob Elliston said her presence will add a great deal of excitement to the January Sale.
“This sale traditionally gives breeders – both domestic and foreign – an opportunity to purchase quality broodmares just before the start of breeding season,” said Elliston.“It also is a notable marketplace for buyers shopping for racing prospects and horses of racing age.”
