Frazer, a part-owner of the mare, said Spright would go to stud and was booked to be served by Zoustar in the spring.
"I'm sure she could race on, but there you are, it wasn't my decision. I've only got 10 per cent," Frazer said.
Spright raced in the famous purple and white colours of Geoff and Beryl White's Robrick Lodge and recorded six wins and 10 placings including the G1 Robert Sangster Stakes at Morphettville.
Spright also won three Group 3 races and was placed three times in other G1 races in William Reid Stakes, Moir Stakes and Goodwood Handicap, making the daughter of Hinchinbrook one of Australia's most valuable mares.
Purchased as a yearling for $100,000, Spright earned $1,365,595 from her six wins and 10 placings in 32 starts.
