The son of Tamayuz, champion freshman sire in Europe when residing at Tally-Ho Stud in Ireland, will shuttle to Rancho San Miguel as a result of the impact his progeny have made in the US.

Sir Prancealot has sired nine winners from 13 runners in the US including four stakes winners.

"The statistics in America were becoming quite freakish so the US became the next natural home for him in the northern hemisphere," said Cornerstone Stud's Sam Hayes.

The flagbearers for Sir Prancealot in the US have been the multiple G2 winners Beau Recall and Madam Dancealot. Both have been G1 placed.

"The team at Rancho San Miguel share our excitement regarding Sir Prancealot's potential," Hayes said.

"We are most grateful to Adrian Gonzalez from Checkmate Thoroughbreds who made the introduction and brokered the deal."

Gonzales is syndicating shares in Sir Prancelot to US breeders.

"Rancho San Miguel will give us the best opportunity to properly introduce Sir Prancealot as a new and unique offering to the US breeding market," Gonzales said.

Sir Prancealot, now nine, had a short but brilliant racing career winning three of his six starts at two in Britain and France including the G2 Flying Childers Stakes at Doncaster and the Listed National Stakes at Sandown.

Sir Prancealot is out of the stakes winner Mona Em, a daughter of Catrail (Storm Cat).
