France's premier sale will be held from August 17 - 19 followed by another 147 lots entered for the V2 sale on August 20.

After a record average of €165,587 in 2017 last year's figure fell to €159,939 for 230 yearlings sold but featured 11 youngsters making in excess of €500,000 including €1.4 million for a Dubawi colt out of Irish 1000 Guineas winner Just The Judge purchased by Ireland's Ballylinch Stud.

Galileo may drive the sale with eight entries. DUbawi has only two but they a colt out of the G1 winner Giofra who is a brother to the 2017 sale topper that made €1.55 million.

The draft holding all the interest comes from Ecurie des Monceaux, leading vendors at the Arqana August Sale every year since 2012.

Monceaux has sold 11 seven-figure yearlings in that time including the Dubawi colt who made a sale record €2.6 million in 2015 when purchased for Godolphin by John Ferguson.

Monceaux will offer 33 yearlings in 2019 including a Fastnet Rock half-brother to the recent US G1 winner Sistercharlie.

A new vendor will be Haras de Gouffern et de La Genevraye in conjunction with leading American consignor Taylor Made Sales.

The partnership was unveiled last September as part of an arrangement between Taylor Made, Gouffern and International Thoroughbred Consultants, headed up by Gouffern president Jean-Pierre de Gaste.

Goffs have released the catalogue for its flagship Orby Yearling Sale with 472 lots to be offered on October 1 and 2.

A highlight will be a Galileo filly out of Green Room, the dam of G1 winner Forever Together and last year provided Orby sale top lot sold for €3.2 million by Ballylinch Stud to Phoenix Thoroughbreds.

Phoenix Thoroughbreds also paid €2 million for a Galileo full-sister to three-time G1 winner Alice Springs and a full-sister to that pair will also go through the ring in October.

Galileo is also represented by a colt out of G2 winner Banimpire and a full-sister to this year's G1 Irish Derby winner Sovereign.
