First season shuttle sire Showcasing, a son of Oasis Dream, landed his first winner with only his second starter in the Northern Hemisphere when Absent Friends won at Southwell on debut.

Showcasing's first Southern Hemisphere crop hit the yearling sales earlier this year and created an impression fetching prices of up to $180,000.

They found homes in the stables of Lisa Latta, Lance O’Sullivan and Andrew Scott, Mike Moroney and Chad Ormsby, Stephen Marsh, Aquanita Racing, Liam Birchely, Karen Zimmerman, Frank Ritchie, Nigel Tiley and Stephen Autridge.

Showcasing's first yearling to sell in Australia goes under the hammer at the William Inglis Easter Yearling Sale.

The colt is a half-brother to G3 winner and G1 performer Adamantium (Elusive City).
