• QUEST FOR FAME, the 1990 English Derby winner, has been retired from stud duty.

The son of Rainbow Quest is now aged 23.

He went to stud in 1993 in Kentucky and shuttled to Woodland Stud in the Huntrer Valley until he was acquired for permanent duty at that property in 2000.

He came under the Darley banner when Woodlands was purchased from the Ingham family in 2008.

Quest For Fame, who covered 53 mares last year, has sired eight G1 winners with sevenb bred inb Australia - De Beers, Dracula, Perfect Partner, Sarrera, Tributes, Unworldly & Viscount.

• MAKYBE Diva's three quarter brother MUSKET will stand at Yarradale Stud in Western Australia in 2010.

The $2.5 million yearling by Redoute's Choice-Tugela has been purchased from Darley Stud by Yarradale Stud in partnership with Geisel Park Stud.

The 6YO stallion stood last season at Twin Hills Farm at Cootamundra.

His four wins includedthe G2 Shannon Stakes at Rosehill.

His 2010 fee has been set at $11,000.

• BUSHRANGER, a dual G1 winner by former WA-based sire Danetime, will shuttle from Ireland's Tally-Ho Stud to stand in Victoria this spring.

Eliza Park Stud has purchased a 50% interest in the former champion 2YO.

Bushranger's wins included the G1 Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket in record time and the G1 Prix Morny at Deauville, the G3 Anglesey Stakes at The Curragh and was placed in the G1 Phoenix Stakes at The Curragh and the Listed Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Danetime, a champion first season sire in Europe, shuttled to Western Australia's Alwyn Park Stud for three seasons before his premature death

He has produced 27 stakeswinners including three Gr1 winners.

Bushranger will stand for $11,000.

• WOODSIDE PARK stallions ECONSUL and GREY SWALLOW will stand in 2010 at an unchanged fee.

Econsul, winner of the 2004 Group 1 Caulfield Guineas, remains on $7700 including GST.

Last spring he covered nearly 100 mares, and his first crop averaged $46,000 at last month's Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale.

Econsul, by Snippets' son Pins, is from a mare by the champion stallion Centaine.

Irish Derby winner Grey Swallow's 2010 fee remains at $9900 (inc. GST).
