* THE debut win of Escado at Cranbourne on Sunday continued the fine run of success for the leading first-crop stallion Casino Prince.

Escado (Casino Prince x Secret Cause, by Giant's Causeway) became the sixth winner for his sire, who is leading the Australian list of first-season sires by earnings in excess of $589,000.

His fellow Patinack Farm stallion Husson is leading by the table by winners with 11 from 22 runners and earnings of $481,575.

Between them the pair have three stakes winners and four stakes-placed runners.

A Group 1 winner by champion sire Flying Spur, Casino Prince is the sire of the high-class Group 2 VRC Sires Produce Stakes winner All Too Hard.

* COX Plate winner Savabeel will boast his third classic winner if the classy Brambles he can win the Queensland Derby at Eagle Farm on June 9.

A NZ$100,000 yearling purchase at the 2010 New Zealand Bloodstock Premier Yearling Sale by Moody Racing, Brambles (Savabeel – Prickle by Pins) took his record to four wins from nine starts in last Saturday's Grand Prix Stakes at Doomben.

His dam Prickle is out of Snobbish (Centaine), the dam of seven winners including the multiple stakes winner Legsman (Pins).

Bramble's third dam is the Listed winner Lady Aloof (Sir Godfrey), dam of the multiple G1 winner Slight Chance.

Oaks winner Slight Chance is the dam of outstanding young sire Dane Shadow (Danehill).

Savabeel's progeny already include Victoria Derby winner Sansgster and Queensland Oaks winner Scarlett Lady

* RANK outsider Fantastic Blue enhanced an outstanding record of runners from the 2010 Magic Millions Gold Coast Guineas when he won the G3 Premiers Cup at Doomben on Saturday.

The first 10 over the line in the 2010 Guineas won by Graceful Anna have all subsequently won stakes races and have earned a staggering and ever increasing prizemoney haul of over $7 million.

Fantastic Blue, a gelded son of Danehill Dancer, notched career win 11 and his earnings have raced to $384,850.

Trainer Paul Nolan purchased the Baramul Stud graduate for $55,000 from the 2008 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

Fantastic Blue is the 136th individual stakes winner for his sire Danehill Dancer and is from the unraced Kenmare mare Chandrika.

The dam of six winners, Chandrika is a three quarter sister to Leica Or Not, the dam of Leica Guv, Light Fantastic and Lectrice.

Chandrika is also a half sister to the dual Doncaster Handicap winner Pharaoh and the stakes performed Malaysian galloper Supreme Ruler.

Fantastic Blue is Chandricka's final foal.

* BRISBANE sprinter Excellantes gave his sire Falvelon a seventh stakes winner when he won the Listed Chief de Beers Handicap at Doomben on Saturday.

Excellantes (Falvelon x Cantantes by Just Awesome) has now won seven of his 19 career starts and has been placed seven times.

He has earned $393,650 prize money, a big return on $105,000 he cost at the 2009 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale where he was purchased by Paul Willetts from the draft of Lyndhurst Stud.

Excellantes is a half brother to the G2 Champagne Classic winner Funtantes (Easy Rocking), who is going under the hammer during the second session of this week's National Broodmare Sale at the Gold Coast.

Funtantes, a winner of six races, also won the Listed Juanmo Stakes and is one four winners from five runners from Cantantes, a Brisbane winner before being retired to stud.

* TALENTED General Nediym mare Gai's Choice remained unbeaten this preparation when she bolted to a six lengths win at Rosehill on Saturday.

An $81,000 purchase from the Widden Stud draft at the 2009 Magic Millions National Yearling Sale, the david Pfeiffer-trained Gai's Choice took her record to six wins from 23 starts with prizemoney in excess of $323,000.

Gai's Choice will be given a shot at Black Type in the Listed Gai Waterhouse Classic in Brisbane on June 16.

Bred on the same cross as Magic Millions 2YO winner Military Rose, Gai's Choice is the first winner for her stakes-placed Flying Spur dam Faster Pussycat, a half-sister to the dam of GI winning sprinter Eagle Falls.

* KIWI filly Misstrum became the 12th stakes winner for her sire Stratum with her success in the Listed Northern Foal Stakes at Ellersliue on Saturday.

Misstrum provided a timely boost for this week's Magic Millions National Weanling Sale with her black type win.

Misstrum was purchased from the 2011 National Weanling Sale by leading New Zealand based bloodstock agent Michael Wallace for $135,000.

She was offered at the Gold Coast sale by Sefton Park and joins the top group of youngsters purchased weanling auction.

Other stars to have emerged from the sale include champion juvenile Pierro and Magic Millions Classic winner Driefontein as well as other Kiwi stakes winners Platinum Kingdom and Silver City.

Misstrum is the second stakes performer and fourth winner produced by the stakes winning Barathea mare Malagra Miss, winner of the Listed Maribynong Trial Stakes at Flemington, runner up in the G3 Tranquil Star Stakes and third in the G2 Ascot Vale Stakes.

Malagra Miss is the dam of the stakes performed winner Cinecitta.

Stratum is a Golden Slipper winning son of Redoute's Choice.

* CLASSY young New Zealand stallion Any Suggestion crowned a memorable week for Rich Hill Stud when his son Killa Question won at Trentham on Saturday.

Just days after securing NZ Horse of the Year and multiple G1 winner Jimmy Choux (Thorn Park) for stud duty, Any Suggestion (Lion Hunter) is guaranteed to be champion NZ first-season sire and champion two-year-old sire thanks to his Karaka Million winner Ockham's Razor and winners such as Killa Question.

Rich Hill bred and race Killa Question, who has the Listed Castletown Stakes on June 11 as his next goal.

Killa Question is from Killa Loox (City On A Hill) who won two races. She is a half-sister to the G1 Ellerslie Sires' Produce Stakes winner Iflooxcouldkill ((Dagger's Drawn).
