LONHRO gelding Skytrain added to his most consistent record for his third stakes win in the G3 Southern Cross Stakes at Warwick farm on Saturday.

The epitome of consistency, Skytrain (Lonhro x Que Sera Sera by Luskin Star), has finished in the top three on 20 occasions, having earned connections just shy of $700,000.

Bred by Woodlands Stud, Skytrain's dam Que Sera Sera has produced four stakes winners to date including G2 winner Manana, dual Listed winner Accept and Listed winner Omens.

From the family of G1 winner Erewhon, Skytrain is one of 36 stakes winners for his champion sire.

Lonhro, sire of G1 winners Mental, Beaded, Pierro, Benfica and Denman, will be represented by eight yearlings at the forthcoming Inglis Premier yearling sale and a further 24 yearlings at the Inglis Easter yearling sale in April.

* FASTNET Rock's classy three-year-old Super Cool reversed the result of last spring's Victoria Derby with a decisive win over Fiveandahalfstar in Saturday’s G2 Autumn Classic at Caulfield.

Fiveandahalfstar and Super Cool (Fastnet Rock x Queen Mother, by Kingmambo) filled the quinella in the GI Victoria Derby at Flemington and b oth are now heading to starts in the G1 Australian Cup on March 9.

The Mark Kavanagh trained Super Cool improved on his first up third in the G2 Autumn Stakes two weeks ago to add a second G2 win to his spring victory in the AAMI Vase at Moonee Valley before the Derby.

A $150,000 Magic Millions purchase for his trainer from the draft of Amarina Farm, Super Cool has won three races and placed three times from eight starts earning some $600,000 in prizemoney.

Super Cool was bred by SF Bloodstock and is the first foal of the Kingmambo mare Queen Mother, a half-sister to US stakes-winners Duality, Bound By Honor and Private Joe from the family of GI winners Soaring Softly and Plenty of Grace.

Fastnet Rock went close to siring a new GI winner when his promising colt Fast 'N' Rocking (Fastnet Rock x For The Good Times, by Hennessy) chased home star filly Miracles of Life for second in the $1million Blue Diamond Stakes at Caulfield.

* RESET mare Star Of Giselle came back to racing in super form to win the G3 Mannerism Stakes first-up at Caulfield on Saturday.

Star Of Giselle came into her own during the spring carnival when she won three races in succession, including two at stakes level.

The five-year-old, bred and raced by her breeders Contract Racing, is out of the stakes-winning Danehill mare Princesa.

Princesa has a Street Cry two-year-old filly, a yearling colt by Domesday and was covered by Medaglia d'Oro last spring.

Reset is the sire of 21 stakes winners highlighted by dual G1 Derby winner Rebel Raider and G1 WS Cox Plate heroine Pinker Pinker.

Reset will be represented by 10 yearlings at the Inglis Premier yearling sale.

* EXCEED And Excel filly Agulhas recorded her first career stakes victory, winning the Listed Redelva Stakes over 1050m at Morphettville on 23 February.

Bred by Darley, Agulhas is the third stakes winner out of the Gone West mare Arctic Drift, herself a daughter to dual G1 winner November Show.

Arctic Drift is also the dam of the dual Listed-winning colt Kuroshio (Exceen And Excel) and his G3-winning sister Believe’n’succeed, whose Listed-winning Lonhro filly Bounding finished second in the G2 Matamata Breeders’ Stakes in NZ on Saturday.

Arctic Drift has a yearling colt by Medaglia d'Oro and was covered by Exceed And Excel’s G1-winning son Helmet in the latest breeding season.

The sire of 62 stakes winners including G1 winners Helmet, Excelebration, Margot Did and Reward For Effort, Exceed And Excel will be represented by 17 yearlings at the Inglis Premier yearling sale and nine yearlings at the Inglis Easter yearling sale.

*AD Valorem filly Meliora became the ninth stakes winner for her sire when she won the G2 Angus Armanasco Stakes at Caulfield. on 23 February.

This race has been a good stepping stone in the past with the likes of Reset fillies Set For Fame and eventual G1 WS Cox Plate winner Pinker Pinker both taking out the G2 contest.

Trainer Peter Moody indicated that the filly could now possibly head to Sydney to target further stakes races up to 1500m.

Bred and raced by the Gold Coast-based Yvonne Smith, Meliora is the first stakes winner out of the Fasliyev mare Sunset Boulevard, whose three runners to date are all winners.

Ad Valorem is the sire of nine stakes winners highlighted by G2 winners Pied A Terre and Free Wheeling.

* FORMER shuttler Golan is the sire of You Think So, winner of the Listed Torney Night Cup at Moonee Valley on February 22.

The 14th stakes winner for Golan (Spectrum), You Think So is from Milly Molly (Montjeu) and has won seven of his 21 starts and $323,914 in prize money.

A graduate of the 2009 NZ Bloodstock Festival Yearling Sale, he was sold for $NZ16,000 when offered by Monovale Farm.

The unraced Milly Molly has produced one other winner and is a sister to the Werribee Cup winner Montahlia and the NZ St Leger third Senor Zorro (Pins).

You Think So’s fourth dam is the Irish 1000 Guineas winner Miralla (Allangrange).
