* THE Listed Cyril Flower Stakes at Ascot on Saturday was won by Amorino to become his sire Snitzel’s 19th stakes winner.

Amorino is out of Steal My Love (Marauding), a half-sister to dual G1-winning filly Danendri.

He was purchased for $70,000 from the Arrowfield draft at the 2011 Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale by Sydney trainer Gerald Ryan.

Ryan prepared Amorino for two wins in Sydney as a juvenile before the gelding was transferred last year to Western Australia where he has now won three races on three consecutive Saturdays for trainer Grant Williams.

The next target for the star 4YO is the Pinjarra Classic on 23 February.

Amorino's win, the return of Cox Plate winner Shamus Award for third in the G1 CF Orr Stakes at Caulfield, and Sizzling's third in the G2 Expressway Stakes at Randwick helped Snitzel consolidate his position at the head of the Australian General Sires' table.

Amorino is one of eight stakes-winning contributors to Snitzel's Australian prizemoney of $5.8 million for the season to date.

* VICTORIA Derby placegetter Thunder Fantasy resumed from a spell with a dominant win in the G2 Autumn Stakes at Caulfield on Saturday.

The Anthony Cummings trained son of Lucky Owners was retained to race by his breeder and has the overall record of three wins from eight starts with prizemoney of $295,150.

Foaled and raised at Widden Stud, Thunder Fantasy is the first foal of winning Galileo mare Pink Pier, a half-sister to stakes-placed Benarrivo from the family of Group winning fillies Bliss Street and Jade Marauder.

Bred on the successful Danehill and Galileo nick, Thunder Fantasy is the fifth stakes-winner for former champion Hong Kong miler Lucky Owners.

* ARROWFIELD graduate Almighty Charge played his part in trainer Gai Waterhouse's four-win day at Randwick on Saturday by leading all the way to score his second consecutive 1400metre victory in city company.

The 4YO son of Charge Forward and Redoute's Fever (Redoute's Choice) was purchased for $240,000 by Waterhouse at the 2011 Inglis Australian Easter Sale.

Almighty Charge has now won four races and more than $220,000.

His sire Charge Forward, already sire of 11 stakeswinners, was represented by another city winner when On Strike (ex Sapphire Girl by Danzero) won at Moonee Valley on Friday night.

The brilliant son of Red Ransom has five yearlings catalogued for next month's Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale, including a colt and a filly from Redoute's Choice mares.

* IN form Excites gelding Red Excitement had to share the honours when he went for a hat-trick of wins at Randwick on Saturday.

The 4YO has been unstoppable this campaign with consecutive wins at Randwick and Rosehill before a dead heat result with Kinnersley on Saturday.

Red Excitement's efforts have seen his earnings balloon out to over $440,000 for connections including Glenn and Viive Williams of Karuta Queen fame who purchased the horse for just $32,500 at the 2011 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale in Sydney.

The Gerald Ryan trained gelding has a strong Vinery flavour being out of a mare by the stud's foundation sire Red Ransom.

Excites is also the sire of Sistine Demon, winner of her last five races in Victoria and building an impressive career record of 6 wins and 3 placings from only 13 starts.

* LONHRO recorded his 100th winner for the season when Vision Retract won at Wyong on February 6.

It was a record achievement in the fast time as no sire standing in Australia had previously reached a century by the first week of February.

Lonhro was Australia’s champion sire in 2010-2011 and finished fourth last season.

The champion first-crop son of Octagonal is standing at Jonabell Farm in Kentucky for the northern hemisphere season.

Vision Retract is out of city-winning Flying Spur mare Retract, a half-sister to Regard, the dam of G1 winning Commands mare Commanding Jewel and her star half-sister Atlantic Jewel.

Lonhro has a clear buffer at the top of the leading sires list by winners this season.

The sire of six G1 winners, he has 12 yearlings catalogued for the Melbourne Premier yearling sale at the end of this month and 25 yearlings catalogued for the Inglis Easter yearling sale in Sydney.

* SPIRITS Dance became the 13th stakes winner for international sire Statue Of Liberty in the G3 Kevin Hayes Stakes at Caulfield.

Statue Of Liberty’s stakes winners are headed by his triple G1 winning son Hay List.

* VICTORIAN bred 2YO Boys Day Out became the first winning graduate of the inaugural Inglis Ready 2 Race Sale when he was successful on debut at Canberra on February 7.

Boys Day Out (Domesday x Verkko by Flying Spur) is trained in Canberra by Gratz Vella.

He was bred and sold by Woodside Park for $15,000 at the Inglis Melbourne Premier II Sale in 2013 and subsequently changed hands again for $38,000 when offered by Edmonds Racing (as agent) at the Inglis Ready 2 Race Sale last October.

Boys Day Out is by Domesday while his dam Verkko won a maiden in 12 starts for Woodside Park trainer Dale Sutton.

His second dam Sybarite (Last Tycoon) is a half-sister to champion South African filly Laisserfaire and the Australian stakes winning stallions Foreplay and Time Thief.

Verkko has a yearling filly by former Woodside stallion Econsul who is now based in Western Australia.
