• DANE Shadow’s stand out mare Red Tracer became the first triple winner of the G2 Millie Fox Stakes when she made a great start to her autumn campaign at Rosehil on Saturday.

Having her first run since her G1 win in the Myer Classic at Flemington in the spring, the Chris Waller-trained six-year-old by Dane Shadow from Kisma (Snippets) recorded the 15th success of her 33 start career increasing her prize money tally to $2,221,010.

One of Dane Shadow’s six stakes winners, Red Tracer is a sister to the G1 AJC Galaxy winner Shellscrape. Their dam Kisma was served last spring by Exceed And Excel


FIVE All, winner of the G3 Frances Tressady Stakes at Flemington, is the third stakes winner for her Danehill sire Court Of Jewels.

Trained by Darren Weir for her breeders the Mathers family, Five All increased her broodmare value with her first stakes victory.

Five All (Court Of Jewels x La Tap by Lacryma Cristi) recorded the fifth win of her 12 start career for $227,375 prize money.

Her dam La Tap, served last spring by Moshe, carried no black type under her first two dams although her third dam Born To Sing (Hit It Benny) is a half-sister to the stakes winners Born Rich (Beau Sovereign), British Steel (Steel Pulse) and Sovereign Ghost (Beau Sovereign).

La Tap’s sire Lacryma Cristi, who died four years ago, is a grandson of Klairessa, the dam of the champion broodmare Eight Carat.

Eight Carat is the grandam of Court Of Jewels, making him a three-quarter brother to champion sire Commands.


• THE Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale chalked up another stakes winner when Cooldini outstayed his rivals in the Listed Roy Higgins Handicap at Flemington on Saturday.

The timely win on the eve of the 2014 edition of the Premier Sale was a timely boost fopr his sire Bernardini and his progeny on offer at Oaklands.

Cooldini (Bernardini x Eliza Dane) was a $40,000 purchase by Cameron Cooke Bloodstock from Three Bridges Thoroughbreds at the 2011 Premier Sale.

The Robert Smerdon trained galloper has since earned over $300,000 for his connections from six wins in 17 starts.

Cooldini is out of the Danehill mare Eliza Dane, a half-sister to the Listed winners Don Bellotto and Hysterical. From the family of the G3 winner and G1 placed Triple Elegance, Eliza Dane is the dam of six winners including the Listed Seymour Cup winner Correct Amoondo.

Shuttle sire Bernardini also had a new Group winner in the US on the weekend when his well-bred colt Gala Award won the G3 Palm Beach Stakes at Gulfstream Park.

Bernardini boasts 26 stakeswiners globally including G1 Epsom and G1 Emirates Stakes winner Boban.

• CLASSY Northern Meteor filly Cosmic Endeavour will be set for autumn black type races after defeating colts and geldings first-up from a spell in emphatic fashion at Rosehill on Saturday.

A $230,000 Inglis Easter purchase from the draft of Willow Park Stud, Cosmic Endeavour was bred by Catherine Remond and has won two of her five starts earning over $116,000 in prizemoney.

She is the third winner from three to race for stakes-winning Danehill mare Crevette, a sister to HK champion and GI winner Fairy King Prawn and half-sister to GI winner and sire Easy Rocking.

• PERTH 2YO Jezpak became the 27thy stakes winner for prolific Western Australia based sire Bletchley Park winning the Listed Supremacy Stakes at Ascot on Saturday.

• THE Chris Waller-trained import Opinion became the 141st stakeswinner by Green Desert’s UK-based champion sire Oasis Dream when he landed the Listed Parramatta Cup at Rosehill on Saturday.

• RISING three year-old star Respondent stepped up to win the Listed Lex Piper Stakes at Ascot on Saturday to become the third stakeswinner for his sire Haradasun.

A homebred for Bob Peters Investments, Respondent is the best of three winners from G2 winner Avenida Madera (Metal Storm).

Respondent has a two year-old full sister and Avenida Madera was covered again by Haradasun last year.

• LEADING Queensland stallion Show A Heart delivered his 20th stakes winner with a winning double at Eagle Farm on Saturday.

The 5YO gelding Mishani Warrior (Show A Heart x Wild And Windswept by Honour And Glory) won the Listed Tattersall’s Members’ Cup on a notable day for the sire as he was also represented by a winning double at the Gold Coast and 2YO debut winner at Toowoomba.

Mishani Warrior is climbing through the ranks having won seven of his last 12 starts with an overall career record of 10 wins and 6 placings from 23 starts.

Heartfelt Quest gave Show A heart his Eagle Farm double when he made it three wins on the trot to take his earnings above $125,000.

His half-brother, by Jet Spur, will be presented in the Magic Millions March Sale by Glenlogan Park.

• DECEASED sire Half Hennessy has his first stakes winner after his six-year-old Distillation won the G3 Lord Reims Stakes at Morphettvile on Saturday.

Distillation is out of the Whiskey Road mare Whiskey Reign. Queensland Derby winner Half Hennessy (Hennessy) died in 2009 after five seasons at stud.

• CHAMPION NZ sire O’Reilly was represented by stakes winner number 71 when Miss Selby won the G3 Lowland Stakes at Hastings in NZ on Saturday.

SUPER Lifeline gave his Australian sire Churchill Downs (Danehill) his first stakeswinner when he took out the HKG3 Hong Kong Macau Trophy at Sha Tin on Saturday.

HK trainer Tony Millard purchased Super Lifeline for $26,000 in Melbourne.

• AD Valorem’s Australian-bred Group winner Free Wheeling broke through for his first win in Dubai at Meydan on Saturday for trainer Saeed bin Suroor.

Free Wheeling won the G2 Champagne Classic at Doomben as a two-year-old when trained by Peter Snowden.
