The son of Galileo suffered an injury while serving in the breeding shed at Coolmore in Ireland.

Ruler Of The World was standing his first season at stud on a fee of €15,000.

“Because many mares have been slow this spring, Ruler Of The World still had quite a portion of his 100-plus book left to cover.

“Ït’s unfortunate that he will miss the last month of the season,” said Coolmore’s Christy Grassick.

MYBOYCHARLIE three year-old Happy Surveys has maintained his unbeaten record in Hong Kong with another impressive victory at Happy Valley.

Champion jockey Joao Moreira drove John Size’s promising sprinter to a half length win in the Le French May Trophy (1200m) on Wednesday night.

• YOUNG Queensland-based sire Rothesay registered his sixth individual winner from his first crop when Enigma Machine created a big impression in New Zealand on Wednesday.

Enigma Machine won on debut over 800m for trainer Ben Foote.

The colt was unbeaten in two trials and lived right up to his reputation with a convincing victory.

Foote has long held a massive opinion of the youngster and will now put him away with bigger targets in mind.

“Normally a horse like this, especially one I own, would have been sold overseas by now but I’ve decided to back my judgement and we’re going to hold on to him,” he said.

Rothesay has started to gain momentum in recent times and will have two runners attempting to become his first Group performers this weekend when In His Stride and Shadow Lawn line up in the G2 BRC Sires Produce Stakes at Doomben.

• LARNEUK Stud has set fees for its roster of three well credentialed stallions Cluster, Ilovethiscity and O'Lonhro in 2015.
