THE Tony Gollan-trained sprinter Most Important powered to an emphatic win in the G3 George Moore Stakes at Eagle Farm to become the 16th stakes winner and fifth this season by his sire I Am Invincible.

The 4YO Most Important (I Am Invincible x Orange Marmalade by Stravinsky) carries the colours of the Huddy family after being a $260,000 purchase from the draft of Yarraman Park Stud at the 2014 Gold Coast Magic Millions Yearling Sale.

He has now won five times from 22 starts and sent his earnings soaring to over $387,000. It was his first win at Eagle Farm after six previous starts at the track for four placings.

Most Important will now head to the Listed Lough Neagh Stakes at Doomben before the Magic Millions race day in January.

Most Important’s dam Orange Marmalade has produced four winners from as many foals to race with Most Important her only stakes winner.

His second dam is the G3 winner Majestic Angel (Imperial Seal), the dam of 10 winners from 12 foals to race including the G3-winning pair Just A Dream (Volksraad) and Forfar (Wallenda).

Orange Marmalade has a yearling filly by Hinchinbrook while her two-year-old colt, also by I Am Invincible, sold for $500,000 at the 2015 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

UNBEATEN three-year-old Winning Rupert was an impressive first up winner at Eagle Farm on Saturday to headline a super day of results for his Written Tycoon.

Winning Rupert sped over the 1200m in a record-breaking time of 1.9.61 to win by almost six lengths eased down and keep intact his perfect record in three starts.

The Bjorn Baker-trained colt could now earn a $500,000 bonus offered for any horse which won Saturday’s race and any two of the Listed Gold Edition Plate, G3 Vo Rogue Plate and Magic Millions Guineas over the next month.

"We don't want to get ahead of ourselves but the bonus is obviously an objective,” said Baker’s foreman Claire Cunningham.

A $67,500 Gold Coast March Yearling Sale purchase in 2015 by Baker, Winning Rupert was bred by Eliza Park International and won both starts in Queensland last season including the G2 Champagne Classic at Doomben.

Written Tycoon, after his record-breaking earnings of $10.10 million in 2015-16, heads this season’s Victorian sires table with $2.63 million to December 3.

Written Tycoon sired five winners around Australia on Saturday. Apart from Winning Rupert, he was responsible for Sassy Tycoon (Kilcoy), Tycoon Queen (Morphettville), and the Pakenham double of Tykiato and Grande Rosso.

Grande Rosso won the $100,000 VOBIS Gold Bullion (1400m) for a Lindsay Park syndicate after making $220,000 as a yearling

CLASSY Denman sprinter Kuro snapped a 12-race losing streak when he took out the Listed Starlight Stakes at Rosehill on Saturday.

The Joe Pride-trained five-year-old gelding had not won since landing the Listed Mick Dittman Plate at Doomben in 2015.

Kuro was placed in the G1 Coolmore Stud Stakes and G1 ATC Galaxy earlier in his career. He has now had 25 starts for seven wins, eight placings and $581,025 prizemoney.

Kuro has earned more than three times the $NZ170,000 Champion Thoroughbreds paid for him at the 2013 NZB Premier Sale at Karaka. Bred by Nearco Stud, he was offered as part of Curraghmore Stud’s draft at that sale.

DANEHILL sire Al Maher produced his 31st stakes winner when the 5YO mare Silverstream won the Listed Jungle Dawn Classic at Ascot.

From the Brocco mare Speedy Bell, she beat her stablemate I’m Feeling Lucky (Bletchley Park) by a half length for leading owner Bob Peters and trainers Grant and Alana Williams. Silverstream could now step up in trip for the Listed Starstruck Classic (1600m).

Silverstream was purchased for $320,000 by Belmont Bloodstock Agency from the draft of Yarraman Park Stud as a yearling in 2013.

LUSAHA provided champion shuttle sire More Than Ready with his 166th stakes winner when he won the Listed Sir Ernest Lee Steere Classic at Ascot on Saturday.

Owned and bred by Craig Thompson’s Mt Hallowell Stud and trained by Dan Morton, the gelding beat multiple stakes winner Caipirinha (Nicconi) by a half length.

Lusaha is from Rose Of Hallowell, a Commands sister to G2 Stan Fox Stakes and G3 Golden Rose winner Court Command) and is the latest stakes winner by More Than Redadfy from a Danehill-line mare.

Lusaha was originally trained by David Harrison and finished third in the Listed Supremacy Stakes in March before resuming this season with Dan Morton.

He won at Northam and Ascot in October before finishing third in the Listed Fairetha Stakes and fifth in the G2 WA Guineas last month.

More Than Ready has 31 lots catalogued for the Gold Coast Magic Millions in January including the younger brother to Sebring.

THE Lindsay Park stable celebrated a notable treble of wins at Pakenham on Saturday with progeny by Oasis Dream, Redoute’s Choice and Snitzel.

- Pilote d’Essai, the classy imported son of Oasis Dream, will be set for the Australian Cup at Flemington in March after the gelding recorded back-to-back feature wins in the Listed Pakenham Cup.

- The Redoute’s Choice 5YO Mihany broke the track record for 1600m at Pakenham when he took out the David Bourke Memorial Handicap in a time of 1:35.86.

The gelding may now head to Caulfield on December 26 for a tilt at the Listed Lord Stakes over 1700m.

- The Lindsay Park-trained Snitzel three-year-old Snitzson landed the second win of his career at Pakenham on Saturday and is likely to have one more start before he is freshened for an autumn campaign.

The Daryl Hansen-trained Rothesay 2YO Bring It Home Pop earned himself a possible tilt in the Magic Millions 2YO Classic when he broke his maiden in the QTIS 2YO Plate at Eagle Farm.

Bring It Home Pop was bought for $50,000 at the Gold Coast March Yearling Sale from the Tamac Stud Farm draft.

Trekking was one of three winners for the day for his ill-fated sire Street Cry who also produced the Godolphin winners Otter at Newcastle and Maternal at Pakenham.

- Malice, who claimed victory in the same race in 2014, is a Darley homebred out of the Encosta de Lago mare Aforethought, a half-sister to the Listed winner Moqueen. The gelding is also a relation to multiple G1 winner Criterion and the G2 winning filly Varenna Miss.

Malice is Teofilo’s 14th individual stakes winner this year including the G1 winners Special Fighter and Palentino.

• [CHAMPIONSHIP, a son of Exceed And Excel, landed his first stakes win in the Listed National Day Cup a mile at Abu Dhabi on Sunday for trainer Ahmad bin Harmash.

He is out of the Halling mare Aljafliyah, who has produced four winners including Waltz Darling (Iffraaj), The Only Boss (Exceed And Excel) and Pensex Lady (Fast Company).

Exceed And Excel has now sired 26 stakes winners in 2016 including dual G1 victor Flamberge and Group winning juveniles Yalta and Hit The Bid.

Syndicator Wylie Dalziel unveiled his second smart All American colt this season when Phelps Glory won on debut at Morphettville on Saturday.

Dalziel Racing bought him for $62,500 at the Adelaide Magic Millions in March.
