Cathy Hains has stood down as a board member of Thoroughbred Breeders Victoria.

Hains, a noted breeder and principal of Burnewang North Pastoral, was a TBV board member for six years.

She will be replaced by Rushton Park’s Kayley Johnson.

Johnson and her husband David have been operating Rushton Park near Tatura ince 2000 and have 100 horses on the 300- acre farm.

“This industry is something I am passionate about, so for me to get a chance to participate in that and have some impact, I think it is good for everyone going forward” Johnson said.
