A colt By Denman made the top price of $115,000 from Book 2 of the Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale.

Stockwell Thoroughbreds offered the Denman x Red Magnum colt on behalf of the horse’s breeders Doug North and Andrew Margan.

Aquis Farm purchased the colt, capping a successful sale for Stockwell who sold 10 of their 11 offerings.

Book 2 ended with an average of $35,795.

Robbie Griffiths and Peter Ford purchased a further five lots to take their overall Premier Sale buys to 16, leaving them as leading buyer.
