Victoria’s Woodside Park Stud has completed the acquisition of Morningside Farm in Nagambie, a 1100 acre property located on the Goulburn River.

The purchase of the Morningside property will enable see Woodside Park to streamline its current operations in order to deliver a sustainable future for the organisation.

“The long-term future for Woodside Park Stud will see all of its breeding operations relocate to the new site, while we continue to upgrade our broodmare band and add new quality stallions to the Victorian market,” said Woodside CEO and principal Mark Rowsthorn.

“With ongoing investment in bloodstock and property the business is well placed to maintain its position as Victoria’s leading commercial breeding operation.”

Woodside Park Stud’s pre-training operation in Tylden has been listed for sale.

The property contains world class stables, 80 horse boxes, an office complex, 1850m pro-ride track, 1800m grass track, water walker, 2 x horse walkers, a 60m swimming pool and 60 spelling paddocks.
