The dual G1-winning son of Deep Impact now leads the country's First Season Sires' premiership with 36.4 million yen ($A480,000) – almost 8.5 million yen ahead of another Deep Impact son and Shadai barn-mate Kizuna.

After placing on debut the filly In The Movie (Real Impact x Spokeswoman by Invincible Spirit) became her sire's fourth individual winner when she accelerated clear of her rivals to score by 3.5 lengths over 1400 metres at Chukyo on June 30.

Four of Real Impact's debutants recorded JRA placegetters at the weekend:-

Milepost (Real Impact x Imprevu by Twining) finished third over 1200m at Hakodate

Armbrust (Real Impact x Vent Fleche by Sakura Bakushin O) & Teleos Hime (Real Impact x Dreaming Bird by Forty Niner) were second and third in the same event over 1200m at Fukushima

Vip Liverpool (Real Impact ex Charismatic Gold by Charismatic) finished second over 1400m at Chukyo

Their performances took Real Impact's record in Japan to four winners and six placegetters from his first 16 runners.

Group racing for juveniles in Japan begins in July with the G3 Hakodate Nisai on July 21 followed by the G3 Niigata Nisai on August 25.

Real Impact has two fillies and a colt in the Yearling Session of next week's JRHA Select Sale, but is not represented in the Foal Session.

Real Impact has Australian-bred rising 2YOs, yearlings and foals-to-come in Australia, bred from his early seasons shuttling to Arrowfield Stud.

He has been the spearhead of Australia's Arrowfield's Japanese stallion project, being followed on the roster by Horse of the Year Maurice and champion sprinter-miler Mikki Isle and the newcomer Real Steel.

Maurice and Mikki Isle are well-represented with their first Japanese yearlings and second-crop foals in the JRHA Select Sale scheduled for July 8 and 9.
