Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Wagga, Coonamble, Pakenham, Ipswich and Moonee Valley.

WAGGA: RACE 4 @ 3:25 PM

DELACOUR (2) comes back to country grade after a disappointing effort in tough conditions at Canterbury last start. She goes well fresh and loves this track and trip, with Brendan Ward winning 5/10 when riding. She looks very hard to beat. SHORES OF AVALON (1) ran well at Dubbo first-up last campaign before struggling in Metropolitan company. Was scratched a week ago due to a stone bruise. The 2kg claim is a bonus and she can turn in an improved effort. SEVENTH SEAL (3) drops back to the 1000m and draws ideally for Blake Spriggs who hops aboard today. Has been a very consistent galloper of late, being beaten less than a length in his past 4 starts. Expect him to go close once again. TSUNAMI SAM (7) has to be respected from a prominent yard and with little weight on his back.
SELECTIONS: Delacour on top in the Mad Scramble.

COONAMBLE: RACE 7 @ 4:55 PM

MORGENSTERN (6) brought strong form and a trial win to resumption and won the CL3 as expected. Gets the tongue tie again and fitter can go on with it. GREAT BUY (1) will run along and has been racing in Open company. He's won here and is in the mix with the 4kg claim helping with the weight lift in this grade. LARYNX (2) has been threatening in stronger grade. He can sit handier today and the 3kg claim brings him into it. MACLEAY (5) resumes for the Morgan barn off the CL1 win at the mile. Draws low with Looker up and keep safe.
SELECTIONS: Backing Morgenstern.

PAKENHAM SYNTHETIC: RACE 3 @ 2:00 P

DAY IN HEAVEN (2) raced wide on debut at Geelong and did well to only be beaten 2.25 lengths. The winner of that race has since run well again in Adelaide since and she should be able to cross and lead over the 1600m. This isn't a strong race and she should go close. TONARE (6) looked in need of more ground on debut here over 1000m and improved sharply last start at Cranbourne over today's distance. Back to the synthetic here, will be running on out wide. NIEVRE (3) is a 55 start maiden but did run an okay race at St Arnaud latest and this isn't an overly strong maiden. Can figure in the first three. PRINCESS TINA (4) was well beaten at this track and distance latest but just missed at Ballarat Synthetic prior and can improve.
SELECTIONS: Day In Heaven to win

PAKENHAM SYNTHETIC: RACE 5 @ 3:00 P

ARIA ELECTRA (1) has run okay in two starts back from a spell and looks in need of more ground, which she gets here. Can push forward and give them something to catch. MISS ISOLATION (5) broke through for a good win in an easier race last start. This isn't overly strong either and she's a chance again.
SELECTIONS: Aria Electra win.

IPSWICH: RACE 6 @ 4:04 PM

HARMONY REIGNS (6) just missed at Doomben and then delivered the Maiden win at the Sunshine Coast. It was a tough effort from a wide gate and she draws to advantage today. Rates to go on with it. TUKI TWELVE (2) has switched from the McEvoy barn in Victoria and is good enough. He will race over further but has trialled twice and Orman's booking suggests he's pleasing. Hasn't been tried over sprints and the betting will tell plenty. TABULAM (1) missed a nose the latest and keeps improving. Has the winkers and low gate and will give a sight. OKALANI (4) may also be looking for longer but was well supported first-up at this trip and pulled up with an issue. Byrne rides from the rail and keep onside.
SELECTIONS: Backing Harmony Reigns.

MOONEE VALLEY: RACE 2 @ 5:45 PM

SHE'S BOOMING (6) resumes. She was in good form last time in and jumped out quite well. Should sit midfield and have last crack. MESSIGNADI (5) was just fair at Caulfield on heavy ground last start but good at this course and distance prior and isn't without claims. H Coffey who has two wins when partnering stays on. Must be respected. OCEAN'S JEN (1) has won previously first-up and resumes here after a break of six-and-a-half months. Don't underestimate while fresh. LITTLE MERMAID (8) is back after a spell of 14 months. Closed the last campaign with a second over 1200m at Mornington. Fitter for recent trials, placing in the latest at Moe. Should run well.
SELECTIONS: She's Booming win.

MOONEE VALLEY: RACE 4 @ 6:45 PM

LONG TYCOON (6) looks the one to beat. Both runs back from a spell have been good, especially first up behind a handy one at Warwick Farm. Third up now, Oliver on, he likely leads and will take all the catching around The Valley. FAME (2) is the main danger. He's placed at all three career runs and looks well set up for the 1500m. Will give Long Tycoon a decent headstart but watch late. HE'S A LEGEND (4) stuck on gamely on debut at Cranbourne and will be better for the run. Draws wide here but has claims.
SELECTIONS: Keen on Long Tycoon.
