She's A Pearl has done this which truly underlines her ability to be consistent and extremely reliable. It is what has set her apart in feature Group 1's.
If anything the 29.34 time she ran last night shows she is still capable of running mind boggling time and the run itself would have helped with her long term confidence, as she had been extremely unlucky in running with some prior runs. For the sport of greyhound racing itself it was a huge relief to see her come out and do what she did.
The Phoenix series in Victoria obviously remains her main target now. What a showcase it would be if she ran into Wow's She's Fast during the series. Two world class quality bitches going head to head would be a mouth watering duel. Let's hope She's A Pearl continues to stay healthy and sound. For now though she has reached the echelon of stakes money earnings in Australia.
