Capel based Aiden De Campo drove a treble on Wednesday at Bunbury, with the successful young trainer also preparing a training double on the day.

He partnered Classnsmart for Sarah Suvaljko in race three, with the five-year-old son of locally stood stallion Renaissance Man bringing up his fourth career victory. Suvaljko, who also had big brother Isaidboo engaged in the same race walked away with fourth placing with the 8-year-old.

Purest Copper resumed after a seven-month let up to win first up this preparation. Bred and owned by Mike Howie, the three-year-old brought up her second career win in just four starts. Sent out for a spell to mature, the youngster started from barrier six, and after settling in the one-one position, De Campo bide his time, making their way three wide with 400m to go to win by 1.4m in 2:00:4.

The wins continued, with Navy Street backing up from his Narrogin win on Saturday to take out race five at Bunbury just four days later. The four-year-old started off the front-line handicap over the 2503m trip, with De Campo leading all the way to win by 4.1m in 2:02:6.

Team Bond ran in the top two in the first on the card, with Thenu Came Along claiming his maiden win at just his fourth start. After leading all the way from barrier four, he came out on top over stable mate In A Wink NZ by 3.7m, giving Dylan Egerton-Green his first win of the day.

David Hunter and Kyle Harper teamed up for a double on the day, with newcomer to the stable Moon Daisy breaking her maiden status. With a string of trials next to her name, the double westbred four-year-old started as the $2.60 favourite, coming out on top by 1.2m in 2:02:1.

Mike Howie had a winner earlier on the day as a breeder/owner, but in race six he trained Artistic Scribe to victory, with Trent Wheeler in the cart. Runner-up at her previous two attempts, the four-year-old brought up her first win in two years, making her return earlier this month after a year away from the track to mature and fill out. With plenty of horses on his farm, Howie was in no rush to bring the then three-year-old back, but a win on return is always a great reward for patience.

"She's definitely come back stronger and drives a lot straighter than she used to,

"No superstar, but will be handy,

"It's his (Trent Wheeler) golden hands that have improved her." Howie said

Dylan Egerton-Green was back in the winner's circle with Rockmyster NZ taking out race seven. Making it two in a row, the four-year-old led all the way from barrier two, winning with a comfortable 12.7m margin in 2:0:1 over the 2569m journey.

The last on the card went the way of Idealingold NZ for David Hunter and Kyle Harper. The five-year-old led all the way, with favourite punters on the money with the $1.80 winner coming off a last start second at Bunbury three weeks earlier.
