Champagne Classic (2130m) winner Bet The House could race again at Gloucester Park this Friday night, according to trainer Ron Huston.

The two-year-old held off a fast-finishing Prince Of Pain to take out the $50,000 event and was also aided by a patient drive from reinsman Chris Lewis.

Bet The House, who had just his second start in the Group 3, is one of two nominations for this Friday's two-year-old event.

Ron Huston said he would be happy to run the son of Betting Line again this week.

"I was deadest in going to the paddock with him on Friday," Huston told TABradio.

"There is another two-year-old race this Friday and he was bouncing out of his skin on the weekend.

"We will have a look at the nominations when they come out today.

"He hasn't come to the end of it, but there's so much money at the end of August that you're mad not to give them a little break and line them up for that."

The Pearl Classic (2130m) on August 25 looms as the first key target for Bet The House, prior Westbred Classic and Golden Slipper on September 15 and 29 respectively.

Huston said his fellow Champagne Classic runner Rocknroll Train would head to the paddock after his unplaced performance in the feature event and hoped to have him back later this year.

Meanwhile, a star-studded group of four and five-year-olds have been nominated for this Friday's 4YO&5YO Championship (2130m) at Gloucester Park.

Watts Up Sunshine, Alcopony, American Bullitt and Jett Star, who both won last Friday, are among the nominations for the $50,000 feature.

Progressive pacers Swingband, El Chema, Faster Than Dad, Machnificent, Benji, Arma Einstein and Don't Bother Me None are also some of the notable nominations.

Wonderful To Fly, who was also nominated for the 4YO&5YO Championship, also holds a nomination for the WASBA Breeders Stakes.

Eighteen Carat, Three Rumours and Taking The Miki are also nominated for the $50,000 event.
