Most eyes will be focused on the dirt where Benbatl takes his chance in Round 2 of the Al Maktoum Challenge and the Dubai 2000 Guineas is run over the mile, but our priceline is focusing on the Dubai Sprint where a clash between last-start course winners Ekhtiyaar and Roulston Scar looks set to provide a strong contest on and off the track.
As always there is free form, ratings, speed maps and videos available for the meeting which you can view here
Roulston Scar $2.80; Ekhtiyaar $3.20; Blitzkreig $7.50.
The Priceline goes the other way to the early markets, finding Roulston Scar on top courtesy of his good win three weeks back. He rated fractionally below Ekhtiyaar but gets a pull at the weights here and probably has more upside at this point in his career. He was a high-rating handicap winner at York last season and looked to have come forward again winning at his first run for the new yard at the Meydan.
American vistor Blitzkrieg heads the rest and doesn't look a bad saver away from Roulston Scar coming back from 1400m with a competitive set of ratings from back at home to his name.
