Statistic Of The Week of French Racing News - 16th September 2021.

Over the next two weekends, trotting takes the centre stage with multiple Group One events at Vincennes including two top level races this weekend. We investigate how the drivers are operating currently compared to previous seasons… 

The top table shows the winning and placing strike rates for this campiagn currently and the driver's personal best season. Eric Raffin leads all four categories as he is maintaining excellent form with a 21.9% winning strike rate so far in 2021/22 which is his best season. Since 2017, Eric Raffin has continued to progress the winning figures, improvingfrom a 14.5%-win strike rate in 2017/18 and subsequently building and increasing that number. His placing rate has been consistent too which may enhance any big opportunities this weekend at Vincennes. 

The second lower table, measures the five drivers from September 2020 against September 2015 tosee if this time of year is especially good for the driver. Alexandre Abrivard has a notable increased winning strike rate from September 2015 to September 2020 and is the driver who increased his percentage strike-rate the most. Eric Raffin was the only other driver who managed to progress the win strike rate from 2015. 

Franck Nivard is a consistent driver who notably catches the eye in the lower table as he brings solid form during the two Septembers. This suggests it is a good time of year for him. Both place rates are second best to Raffin, and it might be worth having a look for any notable bookings he may be driving or riding in the coming weeks.
