Vincennes – 14th September 2021.
This week we look at a promising young three-year-old who bounced back to winning ways at Vincennes.
Date | Tuesday 14th September |
Venue | Vincennes |
Race | Prix Bertha |

Jockey/Driver | F. Ouvrie |
Trainer | Sebastien Guarato |
Breeding | Love You x Ceta Extra Bourbon |
Second | Iron Spirit |
Third | Ideal Ranais |
The Sebastien Guarato-trained three-year-old Invincible Bourbon bounced back from a hugely disappointing effort when beaten eighteen lengths at Langon-Libourne following a short break. The well-bred son of Love You looked a completely different proposition when winning this Class D event with conviction.
Well-positioned by driver Franck Ouvrie, the pair made steady progress taking it up with 500m to go. The lightly raced colt showed a smart burst of acceleration putting the race to bed quickly off the home turn. Given his trainers record of improving horses with age it would be no surprise were there plenty more to come from him as he continues to learn the trade.
By the top-class sire Love You and out of a Ready Cash mare he should continue to progress through the grades.
