Race 5 – Horse 2 - Houdan Montaval

Houdan Montaval retained his unbeaten record when making it three-from-three at Toulouse on Monday. The Tony Le Beller trained and driven four-year-old arrived following victories at Montauban and Argentan. The classy colt by Ouragan out of Celland controlled the race before kicking clear in a matter of strides for an impressive success by a wide margin. Purchased for just €16,000 by the Daidou stable at the Osarus yearling trotting sale at Vincennes in August 2018 he already looks well on his way to repaying that sum. Tony Le Beller suggested that he should continue racing in the provinces going through his grades before being tempted to race in Paris. This unexposed colt looks capable of climbing the ladder in time and on his three runs to date, will pay to follow.
