An international Group One for four-to-ten year olds, the Prix de l'Atlantique (2150m) at Enghien often attracts a high-class field. We look at the field for the Enghien feature...

Chica de Joudes

Chica de Joudes has been competing in the top echelons over the Vincennes Winter Meeting and produced an arguably career best performance when fifth in the G1 Prix de Paris (4150m) late February. Although she's yet to win above Group Three level, the nine-year-old cannot be dismissed in a race of this nature.

Davidson du Pont

Despite finishing runner-up in the G1 Grand Prix d'Amerique (2700m) for the second consecutive year, Davidson du Pont suffered a disappointing end to the Winter with three straight disqualifications at the top level. He completed successfully at Angers in the G3 Grand Prix Angers Loure Metropole (3100m) and will be on the comeback trail.

Billie de Montfort

Billie de Montfort has been an excellent servant for her connections over the years and added another Group One to her tally when successful in the Gran Premio Costa Azzura (1600m) at Turin, Italy in early April. She cannot be dismissed on the back of that victory.

Vivid Wise As

Vivid Wise As was a winner of his sole start at Enghien (G3 Prix Henri Craovisier – 1609m) in 2017 and continues to perform well in top-class events. Seen to best effect over 1600m however was an eye catching second in the G2 Prix de Bourgogne (2100m) in January 2021 behind Face Time Bourbon.

Vitruvio (ITY)

Vitruvio was fourth behind Billie de Montfort in the G1 Gran Premio Costa Azzura (1600m) and has featured in the finish of Italy's premier races over the last year. Place contender at best.

Délia du Pommereux

Délia du Pommereux broke through for a well-deserved Group One success in the Grand Prix de France (2100m) and has since produced two solid efforts, including a second in the G1 Grand Critérium de Vitesse de la Côte d'Azur (1609m) behind Vivid Wise As. She excels in these conditions and is a multiple winner at the track.

Etonnant

Etonnnat was a shock winner of the G1 Grand Prix de Paris (4150m), relishing the return to driven company after placing in mounted Group One events. He was disqualified in the G1 Grand Critérium de Vitesse de la Côte d'Azur (1609m) subsequently but cannot be dismissed if replicating recent achievements.

Valokaja Hindö (DEN)

Valokaja Hindö was unable to make his presence felt during the Vincennes Winter Meeting and has since been a disappointment at Laval and Angers among easier company. He would need sharp improvement to feature.

Wild Love (SWE)

Wild Love has enjoyed a successful start to the season, with three victories from eight races in 2021. She steps up in class following a win in the Class B Prix de la Lorraine (2100m) at Vincennes and may find this competition too tough.

Jerry Mom (BEL)

Jerry Mom has featured in the top half of the field in some good races over the last few months at Vincennes, most notably a fourth in the mounted Prix du Cornulier (2700m) in January. He's a consistent performer and could sneak a place if others disappoint.

Calle Crown (SWE)

Calle Crown is taking on significantly tougher opposition than he's used to though he has picked up some prize money over the last few months, including a third in the competitive Class B Prix Emile Allix Courboy (2700m) at Vincennes in early March.

Unique Juni (SWE)

Unique Juni showed a good level of improvement when taking the Class A Prix du Treport (2700m) at Vincennes in April. She's facing a tougher test however recent achievements would not rule her out from sneaking a place.

WIN – Délia du Pommereux

DARK HORSE - Jerry Mom (BEL)
