In what may have only been a small 1200m maiden for unraced two-year-olds, Starfix produced an impressive victory. He raced to the lead and made all. When asked to quicken 200m from the finish, the response was immediate displaying a smart turn of foot to leave his rivals toiling.
The son of Dabirsim emulated his father by also winning first up over the same course and distance. He looks to have inherited plenty of speed and class from the dual G1 winner, who was unbeaten at two. Starfix is a first foal from a dam who scored at Listed level and is a half-sister to 1400m two-year-old G3 winner Sofast. It is fair to say he has plenty of precociousness in the blood. This colt is worth following and is another well-bred horse for owners, the esteemed Wertheimer Brothers.
