Eddy du Vivier built on his recent second behind Fly Speed in the Pornichet-le-Baule leg of the G3 Grand National du Trot to take a narrow victory in Wednesday's renewal. He had been in great order since the middle of summer, producing four wins and three placings from his last eight outings. His task was made easier by the early disqualification of short-priced favourite Cleangame. |

Hirondelle du Rib produced a bold bid to win the G3 Prix Olry-Roederer at Vincennes and cemented her position at the top of the four-year-old mounted division. Her comfortable victory was made more impressive by the fact the filly was shod. Connections have identified the G1 Prix du Cornulier as a future target but are yet to decide at which age their stable star may be entered. |

Ampia Mede Sm continued her excellent season with a victory in the G2 Prix Marcel Laurent at Vincennes on Friday evening. She was an easy victor, confirming the confidence her trainer had been showing in the mare through the last few months. She is expected to race in the G3 Prix Chenonceaux followed by the G1 Prix Tenor de Baune with the intention of qualifying for the G1 Prix d'Amerique. |

Rebella Matters continued her upward trajectory with a strong success in the G3 Prix du Languedoc at Vincennes on Saturday. She has been flying since her first Group success at Vichy in July and the mare set an eye catching time of 1'12'9 over 2850m. Last year's winner Milliondollarrhyme produced another big performance in the race to finish second. |

Ici C'est Paris bounced back from an uncharacteristic disqualification to win the G2 Prix Louis Tillaye, missing out on a course record by two tenths. Despite a hard battle with second place Ideal du Chene, the colt triumphed at the line. He will be sent to the Prix de Vincennes on 26 December next. |

Ideal Lignieres turned around the form with re-opposing rival Italiano Vero to win the G2 Prix Abel Bassigny on Saturday at Vincennes. It was a great tactical drive from Franck Nivard to defeat the Group One winning Italiano Vero and connections will be hoping he can uphold the form on their next meeting. |

Trainer Fabrice Souloy secured a double at Vincennes on Saturday when Idylle a Vie won the G2 Prix Reine du Corta. She produced a bold effort and recorded a time of 1'11'4 which was both a race record and a course record for a three year old. |

Texas was a clear two and a half length victor of the Prix Bernard de Marmiesse at Toulouse on Thursday. The son of Wootton Bassett was well-placed by trainer Henri-Francois Devin to take advantage of the soft ground which suited. He is the first winner for his dam Texalova. |

Second placed Anasia will also be retired to stud. |

He faced a field of five rivals and was a comfortable one length winner ahead of Top Max with Paco a further neck back in third. Fourth placed Stormy Pouss finished ten lengths behind the top three at the finish. |

Trainer Sonia Delarouche felt the daughter of Elvstroem will show further progression at five years old. She is the fifth winner out of Golden Nail and a half-sister to Golden Rasja, winner of over 300,000 euros. |
