The G2 Prix d'Amérique Races Qualif #2 Prix du Bourbonnais (2850m) has seen some excellent renewals over the past ten years including two-time winner Ready Cash, Bird Parker and Face Time Bourbon...

This Sunday the G2 Prix du Bourbonnais (2850m) will take centre stage at Vincennes. It is an International G2 race for four-to-ten-year-olds, excluding geldings that have won at least €160,000.

It is second in the four 'B' races of the Winter Meeting, meaning the first three in this contest will gain automatic qualification for a place in the G1 Prix d'Amérique (2700m) in January.

This years' contest is another high-class renewal with world-champion trotter and last year's defending champion Face Time Bourbon leading the field. The 2018 and 2019 winner Délia du Pommereux is amongst the contenders whilst the likes of Davidson du PontZacon GioCarat Williams and Etonnant will all be looking to secure their place in the big one.

Predominantly this renewal on Sunday has been dominated by the home nation. International raiders have not fared well in recent years. The last non-French winner was Super Light in 2006.

* - Please note with these participants the international form lines may not be fully updated and accurate.

(C) – Horses with this symbol, means the career best Kilometre rating was achieved at the track (Vincennes).
