Race 1: Oncidium Handicap

#11 Supreme Patrol is looking for back-to-back wins. He's racing well and did tune-up nicely for this with a smart trial effort down the straight recently. #1 Little Thunder turned his form around to finish second last start. He draws well and gets his opportunity. #8 Vital Spring rarely runs a bad race. #2 One Happy Star steps down to Class 5. He bears close watching with Zac Purton engaged.

Race 2: Kalanchoe Handicap

#9 Demons Rock draws well and gets his chance. He can sit handy under Dylan Mo who did register a win aboard the gelding three starts ago. #5 Mighty Power is still searching for his first Hong Kong win. He can be competitive albeit from the wide gate. #4 Striking Mr C can roll forward and take up the running. He's better than his last two starts suggest. #11 Dollar Reward is competitive in his spot over this course and distance.

Race 3: Cornflower Handicap

#6 Gunnison's most recent run down the straight returned a close-up fourth at G3 level and, he rates strongly if he is able to reproduce that form here. #5 Ping Hai Bravo has gone from strength-to-strength this term with three wins to his name. He's the main danger. #1 Duke Wai gets a handy seven-pound claim. He can figure off his most recent run. #4 Highland Fortune is next best.

Race 4: Snapdragon Handicap

#9 Great Harvest is in career-best form. He shared the win two starts ago and since then has held his form with a close-up second. He's the one to beat, he just needs to offset the wide gate. #2 Galaxy Emperor is looking for back-to-back wins. He's racing well but does shoulder an extra bit of weight this time around. #1 City Legend rarely runs a bad race. Still, he is winless across 31 starts which is a concern. #7 Victorious Leader gets Zac Purton up. Big watch.

Race 5: Jonquil Handicap

#1 Decisive Twelve won well last start. He remains in Class 4 which suits and it wouldn't surprise to see him string two together. #5 Ernest Feeling closed off nicely for third on debut. He's open to further improvement. #2 Family Folks won well two starts ago. He's held his condition and gets his chance. #3 Bullish Unicorn looked average on debut, however, since then he has trialled well. Must respect.

Race 6: Marigold Handicap

#2 So We Joy is better than his recent record suggests. He can go on with it here if he maanges to recapture his previous best. Strong booking of Zac Purton warrants respect. #13 Plikclone is in career-best form with two wins from his last four starts. He slots in light thanks to Jerry Chau's seven-pound claim. #10 Best For You draws well and bears close watching. #5 Golden Four is next best. It wouldn't surprise to see him turn it around off his current mark.

Race 7: Dendrobium Handicap

Zac Purton rode a double for trainer John Size at the midweek fixture and the Australian's solid run of recent form for the handler can continue with #6 Juneau Park who does, get his chance from a good gate. #3 Storm Warnings mixes his form but does have plenty of ability. He's worth taking a chance on. #9 Chancheng Prince is a two-time winner albeit against the Griffins. Still, he clocked a close-up second two starts ago and is worth including with that run under his belt. #1 Ima Single Man is next best.

Race 8: Freesia Handicap

#4 Man Star charged clear in style last start to score in a slick time. He remains in Class 3 following that victory and with even luck this contest appears to be his to lose. #5 Lucky Fun is a two-time winner from the last three starts. He draws well and gets his chance again. #3 Sunset Watch is racing well. He's looking to go one better after closing strongly for second last start. #10 Resolute is looking for back-to-back wins. He draws well.

Race 9: Hyacinth Handicap

#1 Flagship Glory has a stack of ability and he should relish every metre of the mile on offer here. Zac Purton takes the reins here to ensure he gets every possible chance to throw his hat in the ring for a Hong Kong Derby tilt. #8 Right Choice turned his form around to grab second last start. His best is more than up to this level. #10 Authentic Champ is a two-time winner from his last four starts. He draws well and rates as a leading player. #12 Leading Fortune is next best.

Race 10: Daisy Handicap

#11 Maximus is looking to secure a Hong Kong Derby spot with victory which, he does appear capable of doing. He trialled well recently and although he's had his issues, he does get the favours here to be going on with it. #5 Berlin Tango turned his form around to finish a competitive seventh last start. He'll relish the added distance. #3 Butterfield has race experience on his side. He draws well and rates strongly. #7 Flying Quest can finish into the placings.
