The week of the Hong Kong International Races includes the much sought after International Jockeys’ Championship (IJC).

Run at Happy Valley on Wednesday 5 December, some of the best riders from around the globe descend on Hong Kong to compete at the night meeting.

They are allocated rides on the card and the best set of performances on the night wins the IJC.

Past winners include legendary Japanese hoop Yutake Take, the jockey who will be synonymous with Winx’s career Hugh Bowman and a star of HKIR week through his career in Zac Purton.
