On December 8 at Sha Tin, the Turf World Championships will be held with some of the world's leading horses, jockeys, trainers and owners all competing.

Four great international races will be run – the Longines Hong Kong Cup (2000m), the Longines Hong Kong Mile (1600m), the Longines Hong Kong Vase (2400m) and the Longines Hong Kong Sprint (1200m).

Great horses with fabled records have tasted success at the meeting. Highland Reel ended his career winning the 2017 Vase. He'd won the same race in 2015. The big grey California Memory twice won the Cup for local fans.

Flintshire was a real global traveller who won the Vase in 2014 while Snow Fairy was a brilliant mare for Ed Dunlop who also won in multiple racing jurisdictions.
