It was previously announced that a veterinary examination conducted on Friday, 6 December 2019, of CALLED TO THE BAR, trained by Ms Pia Brandt, found that horse to be lame in the right front leg.

Further, an examination of LUCKY LILAC, trained by Mr Mikio Matsunaga, found that horse to be lame in the left front leg.

Dr Anil Prabhu, Veterinary Officer, has this morning advised that both horses have improved significantly and that both CALLED TO THE BAR and LUCKY LILAC are suitable to race.

In Her Time – The LONGINES Hong Kong Sprint (GROUP 1)

Dr Prabhu has advised the Stewards that an examination of IN HER TIME, trained by Mr Kris Lees, has found that horse to have sustained a quarter crack in its left front foot.

IN HER TIME will be subject to a further veterinary examination tomorrow morning to assess its suitability to race. A further release will be issued at that time.
