Race 1: Renfrew Handicap (3rd Section)

#6 Athena did well to grab fourth last time out over this course and distance. Now with that run under his belt, he should be ready to show further improvement and test this lot. He's drawn to get the right run from gate two and this contest appears more than suitable. #3 True Legend scored narrowly two starts ago. He's since been racing well and if he can translate that form to the city circuit then he's going to find himself in the finish. #7 Breeze Of Spring has the ability and if he can overcome the awkward draw he's another, in with a winning chance. #5 Harrier Jet breaks from gate three with Zac Purton in the plate. He's down to a competitive mark now and bears close watching.

Race 2: Rhondda Handicap

#6 Dragon Commander closed strongly to grab fourth last time out over this course and distance. He's yet to win a race in Hong Kong but following his latest effort, he gets an excellent chance to finally piece it all together here. #1 Super Fast steps down to Class 4. He's shown glimpses of ability and with Zac Purton now taking the reins, chances are he's ready to finally put his best foot forward. #5 Perfect To Play is consistent and does know how to handle the Valley. He won well two starts ago and off his latest performance, he does appear to have held his condition well. He'll be in the finish. #10 Beauty Angel has shown signs of ability. He can figure with the right run.

Race 3: Selkirk Handicap

#11 E Generation is racing well and should benefit from the step up in trip now. He's yet to win but has clearly taken his time to acclimatise to life in Hong Kong and with the right run, he's going to get his chance. #6 Wonderful Tiger scored comfortably by two lengths last start. He's a three-time winner this campaign, all of which have come in Class 5 where he remains for this assignment, ensuring him another winning chance. #4 Happy Hour gets the services of Zac Purton who last rode this galloper to victory in December, 2019. He's back down to a competitive mark and steps into Class 5 for the first time since that run, which should ensure he gets every possible chance. #1 Curling Luxury can run them along here and with a soft enough lead, cling on for some prize money.

Race 4: Durham Handicap

#3 Flying Genius is consistent and more than capable of rewarding himself with another win here. He's drawn to get the gun run and with even luck he's going to get his chance to add a third course and distance success this season. #10 Eternal Harvest has clear ability and since his win, earlier this term, hasn't been too far away in the stronger grade. He gets in light and should be competitive once again. #6 Flying Bonus led and won well last time out. Expect he'll try the same again here although, his task won't be made easy, especially in a race filled with early speed as he drops from 1200m to 1000m. #4 Metro Warrior closed for an impressive fourth on debut. He has ability but against is that this does appear a difficult contest, especially for his first try at Happy Valley under race conditions.

Race 5: Renfrew Handicap (2nd Section)

#8 Destine Jewellery has done well across his first season in Hong Kong with one win and three placings from 12 appearances. His solid form can continue here if he's held his condition and the favourable draw should ensure we see the best of him. #6 Amazing has taken his racing to a new level this term and once again gets an excellent chance for the in-form Benno Yung stable. #3 Honest Way rattled into second last time out. He's a three-time winner in Hong Kong who appears down to a competitive mark now. #2 Happy Good Guys has the awkward draw to overcome but will be in the finish for Alfred Chan who goes into Wednesday's card fresh off a Sunday treble at Sha Tin.

Race 6: Renfrew Handicap (1st Section)

#3 Momentum Galaxy walked out of the gates which clearly cost him the race. If he can put that performance behind him he's an excellent chance of turning his form around and in his favour, is the booking of Zac Purton once again. #11 Resolute has shown glimpses of ability across his short career. He's drawn favourable for Chad Schofield who can ensure that with a forward position, he gets every opportunity. #12 Victorious Leader won well last time out and steps into Class 4 off the back of that. He gets no weight on his back and remains a winning chance once again. #4 Sky Darci has the ability but appeared to struggle last time out. Still, he's capable of turning his form around with that run under his belt.

Race 7: Lancashire Handicap

#2 Cinquante Cinq is unlucky not to have won more races but still, he does get an excellent chance here to add his tally. Gate four is more than suitable, as is the booking of Zac Purton which will ensure that he gets every chance. #5 Jolly Honour is nothing short of consistent and steps out once again over his preferred course and distance where he is a two-time winner this season. #8 Heavenly Thought has been a conundrum across his Hong Kong career but does clearly have the ability, though, he does need a fair bit to go his way. #10 Brave King has shown he has the ability. The inside gate should and with even luck he should be able to rattle into the finish. He's worth an each way play if he is a big price.

Race 8: Hereford Handicap

#1 Cue The Music has done well since his arrival to Hong Kong from South Africa. He turned in an impressive run last time out to grab fourth and with that under his belt, he just might be ready to piece it all together again. #7 Compassion Spirit is searching for his third consecutive win. He's drawn to get the right run and if he can keep on rising, then he's going to be fighting out the finish once again. #5 California Rad is a winner of two out of his last three. He's getting up in the ratings now but does have exceptional gate speed which holds him in good stead for these sprint contests. #4 Telecom Puma definitely has the ability but has been a head scratcher for his supporters. He bears close watching in this contest, but does need a fair bit to go his way.

Race 9: Alnwick Handicap

#5 Gentle Breeze is a three-time course and distance winner this term, who can, reverse his form and take out this contest. His best is capable and although he's been only steady of late, the run down the Sha Tin 1000m straight will have held him in good stead for this contest. #3 Hong Kong Win is an exceptional talent on the rise with fours to his name this campaign. He gets gate one which suits and he does appear to still have a number of ratings point in hand. #9 Golden Dash capped a successful return from injury with victory last time out. He steps up in class which makes things tough though, he does have the ability and with further improvement he can figure again. #6 Multimillion rarely runs a bad race and bears close watching from the inside draw.
