Race 1: Yi O Handicap

#2 Hay Run steps back to the turf which should spark sharp improvement. He's much better on the grass although, he will have taken plenty of benefit from that first-up effort on the dirt. #10 Art Of Raw is at a competitive mark in Class 5. He kept on well for third last time out and from the good gate he should receive the run of the race. #3 Joy Master gets a handy 10 pound claim from apprentice Jerry Chau. He deserves respect in this contest. #7 Great Smart is solid and he should run a bold race over his preferred course and distance.

Race 2: Tong Fuk Handicap

#10 Diamond Pegasus should be fitter from his first-up run and he should be able to string them along here in the lead. He'll take catching from the front of the field. #4 Jade Phoenix has the runs on the board and should get the run of the race under Joao Moreira from gate three. #6 My Sugar grabbed fourth on debut last season. Zac Purton hops up off the back of any eye-catching trial and he deserves respect in this small field. #2 Eligere can finish around the mark again.

Race 3: Siu Ho Wan Handicap

#5 So Awesome turned in an impressive first-up third and off that should benefit from the added 2000m on offer here. #1 Ultimate Glory is racing well in Class 4 and with race-experience on his side he should be able to finish around the mark again. #9 All For St Paul's has ability and should not be discounted. His issue is the awkward gate, which could see him do a fair bit of work early. #8 Winwin Thirtythree is looking for back-to-back wins. He's worth including even with the step up from Class 5 to Class 4.

Race 4: Yung Chung Handicap

#5 Yes We Can returns first-up. He found form at the back-end of last season and if he can recapture that here, then he's capable of bagging a first Hong Kong win. #6 Master Galaxy finished second first-up. He's capable of going one better off that run and in his favour is the booking of Hong Kong's champion jockey, Zac Purton. #4 Vital Spring has drawn a touch awkward but he can take another step forward here for Vincent Ho and Francis Lui. #14 E Generation is next best with no weight on his back.

Race 5: Sha Lo Wan Handicap

#6 Give Way Please shot clear in a recent trial, displaying immense talent and if he can translate to race day, then he is the one to beat. #3 United We Stand loves the course and distance and with Jerry Chau's 10 pound claim, he should be able to run them along here. #11 Goko can figure as a four-time course and distance winner. He's down to a competitive mark. #13 Manna From Heaven has shown little but can improve from his first-up effort at the Valley.

Race 6: Ngong Ping Handicap

#5 Clear Choice loves the course and distance and from gate five, he should get the run of the race. This is winnable. #6 The Hulk races on the dirt for the first time. He's trialled impressively on the surface previously and there's no reason to suggest that he won't translate this to race day. He can take beating. #4 Enfolding's race pattern might see him out the back but with a strong pace, he can rattle into the placings. #8 Best Alliance is another who will be well back. He can finish off and get into the money.

Race 7: Tai O Handicap

#6 King's Race can roll forward and give a sight close to the speed. He's found a nice spot in this race and with Skyey Supreme drawing wide, he should be able to cross the field to find the rail and from there, take running down. #12 Crown Avenue gets the services of Zac Purton. He mixes his form but is down in the weights and from the good gate he maps to get the gun run. #2 Skyey Supreme should cross from the wide gate, although, this will see him do a stack of work early. He'll carry 133lb this time and may struggle. #1 Party Everyday missed the kick but still managed to rattle into second last time out. Expect similar again but he is up against it in this field.

Race 8: Mui Wo Handicap

Joao Moreira weaved his magic to #11 Leap Of Faith home last start to register an impressive win. He can take another step forward here, especially with no weight on his back. #8 Toycoon has ability but struggles to show it each start. If he can piece it all together here then he's a live chance from a soft gate. #6 Alcari is the mix and given the opportunity, he is capable of testing these. #2 Beauty Spirit is next best.

Race 9: Fan Lau Handicap

#11 Prince Of Gems is looking for back-to-back wins after scoring at the season's opening fixture. He's right in this and if he's trained on from that run, then he's capable of taking this contest even with the step up to Class 3. #10 Fabulous Eight is another who is 1/1 this season. He's turned into a tidy straight galloper who should get every chance up on the pace. #6 Cruising is slowly recapturing his best and now, with Zac Purton up, he does deserve respect. #2 Valiant Dream is nothing short of consistent and won't be too far away again.

Race 10: Chek Lap Kok Handicap

#6 Excellent Proposal has gone from strength-to-strength and looks on an upward trajectory toward the 2021 Four-Year-Old Classic Series. He looks capable of handling 1800m and with even luck, take plenty of running down. His stablemate, #7 Enrichment returns off the back of an impressive trial at Sha Tin. He has ability and although he doesn't have the wins on the board, he should find himself in the right spot from the good draw. #4 Savvy Nine closed off nicely behind Excellent Proposal last start. He'll benefit from the added furlong on offer and find himself right in this. #5 Reliable Team can take the next step as a five-year-old and although this is a difficult contest, he should be able box on for prize money.
