Race 1: Wylie Handicap (2nd Section)

#10 Galaxy Emperor has taken to acclimatise to Hong Kong but across his short 12-start career, he has displayed enough ability to suggest a win is close. He's drawn to get the right run for Joao Moreira who should slot him in somewhere close to the speed from gate two. #2 For Fun's Sake has been poor across his career but did, show significant improvement last time out when finishing second. He can finish off strongly and he should relish the added furlong on offer here. #13 Moneymore is consistent in this grade and gets his chance once again. #13 Bravery And Power mixes his form but is one who could jump out of the ground at any time. 

Race 2: Hamilton Handicap

#3 Multimore caught the eye when winning a recent trial on the dirt and if he can translate that form to the races, then he is going to prove a competitive customer. #2 Give Way Please struggled on debut but clearly does have the ability. He's worth forgiving as he may have just needed the run. #7 Sparkling Dolphin bolted clear last time out from the front and he rates as a chance to do the same again. He bears close watching. #12 Qipao Boss has ability and his latest trial on the dirt backs this up. He'll be thereabouts.

Race 3: Wylie Handicap (1st Section)

#2 Vital Spring raced well first-up before struggling at his latest. He can easily bounce back to form, especially as a course and distance winner who has been competitive in Class 4 previously. #11 Blazing Partners rattled into second last start. Jerry Chau retains the ride and with the right run from the awkward gate, he can get into the finish. #12 Great Harvest has shown glimpses of ability and although he might need further, he is worth including down in the handicap with Neil Callan up. #8 Shanghai Dragon gets the services of Zac Purton who is looking to snap a run of 30 rides without a win. He'll roll forward and play catch me if you can.

Race 4: Nelson Handicap

#9 Super Mission has race-experience on his side and was showing significant improvement with each run he had last term, including, a narrow defeat at his final outing. Expect he'll roll forward under Vagner Borges and try to pinch this. #1 Everyone's Delight got off the mark impressively on debut. That's not an easy task to do and he does appear to have plenty of ratings points in hand. #4 Courier Wonder has caught the eye at the trials and steps out on debut for John Size and Joao Moreira. He's shown plenty of early ability and he deserves close watching. #10 Brave Power can box on.

Race 5: Waterloo Handicap

#5 Full Power is racing well and he gets a handy 10 pounds taken off here thanks to apprentice Jerry Chau. He looks well placed in his spot and he rates as a leading player from the draw. #9 Cheerful Star steps out for the in-form Frankie Lor yard. He should improve sharply from his first-up run now switching back to the grass with a longer distance. #2 Beauty Angel is looking for his third consecutive win. He's a two-time Class 4 winner and the services of Zac Purton for this should ensure that he's around the mark once again. #8 Jimmu is still winless. Still, he can get into the placings once again with the right run.

Race 6: Fife Handicap

#10 Super Elegance has the runs on the board and is unlucky to not already be a winner, especially a six-time second placegetter. He looked well in a recent Conghua trial. #11 Flying Mighty is lightly raced but does look to be a lightly raced talent. Against him is the draw but he does get the services of champion jockey Zac Purton to offset this. #1 Easy Go Easy Win steps down to Class 3. His last two runs in this grade have resulted in one win and a narrow second. Jerry Chau's 10 pound claim gets him in well at the weights and he profiles as winning chance on class. #8 Tempest Express is opener to further improvement stepping up to the mile. Must include.

Race 7: Pitt Handicap

#6 Mighty Power is nearing a win and with the soft gate he once again gets his chance to break through. He has two runs under his belt this term and he should have every chance to be hanging around at the finish. #10 So Awesome comes into this off the back of two solid top three efforts. He's lightly raced with only seven starts under his belt and his best is still yet to come. #11 All For St Paul's is looking for back-to-back wins. He's aided by the soft gate and he deserves respect still in Class 4. #3 Judy's Star has ability and is slowly finding his groove this term. He's racing honestly and should be around the mark again.  

Race 8: Bedford Handicap

#4 Cruising won well last time out and he's capable of going back-to-back here. He's had an injury plagued career but on his day he is very good and off his latest win, he appears to be in tip-top condition which could return another success. #9 Good View Clarico won three on the bounce before his last-start third. Zac Purton hops back aboard for this and he does still appear to have plenty of ratings points in hand. #10 Seven Heavens has the ability and did win third-up last campaign. He's better than his record suggests and the booking of Joao Moreira bears close watching. #5 Meridian Genius is a lightly raced prospect from the Tony Millard yard. He's still on-the-up and does run well fresh.

Race 9: Dundas Handicap

#6 Biz Power is a talent with a bright future who finished a close-up second over this course and distance first-up. Joao Moreira sticks aboard following that run and from the inside gate he should be able to figure strongly. #9 Keep You Warm rattled into a narrow second last start at 31/1. He returns again here and although he has the awkward draw, he should be able to continue on an upward trajectory and challenge this bunch. #4 Big Fortune is looking for back-to-back wins. He rarely runs a bad race and he must be respected here. #3 Lockheed is winless across 23 starts. He is another who rarely runs a bad race, albeit without winning but still, he's not without claims.

Race 10: Argyle Handicap

#6 Sky Field is a supreme talent who is looking for his fourth consecutive win. He looks like he'll relish every inch of the 1400m and with even luck, he'll take plenty of beating. #2 Mighty Giant is looking for his fifth consecutive win. He's now five wins from eight starts and is a course and distance winner in Class 2. He'll put up a fight but he doesn't look to quite have the brilliance of Sky Field. #5 Lucky Express is still on the up despite his last-start defeat. He just needs to handle the distance to be a winning chance. #8 Magnificent can roll forward and look the winner for a long way and from there, cling on for prize money.
