Race 1: Mody Handicap 

#6 Double Take has proven a formidable galloper on the dirt with one win four starts ago, as well his close-up second last time out. The Caspar Fownes/Joao Moreira combination deserve respect and it wouldn't shock to see him go on with it. #7 Crown Avenue is racing well and draws favourably for this contest. #9 Sweetly Baby won well first-up two starts ago on the dirt, which he returns to here. He bears close watching. #3 London Luckystar is performing well should relish the step up to 1800m here. 

Race 2: Nathan Handicap 

#3 Viva Council steps out for the in-form Peter Ho who walked away with one win from the midweek fixture. Jerry Chau's claim suits and with a forward ride he could take plenty of catching from the front. He gets his chance. #1 Regency Poet steps back down to Class 5 which suits, as does gate three. #2 Sky Treasure has delivered on the dirt previously and although he draws awkwardly, he does rate as a leading player. #8 Moneymore switches to the dirt off the back of an impressive win. Keep safe. 

Race 3: Humphreys Handicap 

#4 Gold Comet is a talent and it doesn't look like it will take him long to break through for his first Hong Kong win. He's proven on the dirt, just the wide draw is a slight concern concern. #2 Golfman Star put in a career-best fourth last time out. The inside gate and Alfred Chan's seven-pound claim suit. #7 Joyful Moments is a veteran who debuts for Michael Chang following an off-season stable transfer. The wide gate hinders his chances, especially against this field. #9 War Lord has been inconsistent since his debut win. Nevertheless, he draws well and gets his chance under Joao Moreira. 

Race 4: Salisbury Handicap 

#3 Dragon Commander is winless across his 24-start career, though, he has shown considerable improvement this term. Joao Moreira hops up now and he'll be looking to ride another winner for Me Tsui after the duo combined at the midweek fixture. #1 Bulb Elite can bounce out of the ground at any time. He's actually trialled well on the dirt previously and it would not shock to see him translate that form at the races this Sunday. #9 Sacred Timing closed off nicely for a narrow defeat last time out. He can make his presence felt with the right run. #8 Ever Strong is next best. 

Race 5: Hankow Handicap 

#1 Soaring Tower won with authority on debut last time out and he returns here to maintain his unbeaten record. The draw is slightly awkward but he remains in Class 4 which suits and the added weight appears no hindrance. #9 Vector has ability and he deserves forgiveness first his first-up struggles. It's worth seeing if he can finish off strongly if he is ridden quieter. #2 Excellent Chariot clocked a slick 1m 8.67s last time out of the course and distance. He can win his way into Class 3. #10 Voyage Star is best ridden out in front and if they go there, then he's a leading player to cling on for prize money. 

Race 6: Carnarvon Handicap 

#4 Smoothies can prove hard to get best on his day and from the good gate, with Alfred Chan's seven-pound claim in use, he could get his chance this weekend. #1 E Star is solid and was a strong winner in this grade last start. A repeat of that win would not surprise. #7 Chicken Dance has returned in sound order from a lengthy out due to injury. Keep. Safe. #9 Igniting is open to improvement following a tidy debut third. 

Race 7: Middle Handicap 

#1 My Sugar has shown his immaturity at times but still, he does have a considerable amount of talent. The draw suits and it wouldn't surprise to see him go one better. #2 Cheerful Days is another with a stack of ability. He's on the up big time and this could see him score his first win of what could be a fruitful career. #5 Diamond Rhyme got off the mark last start. He can figure once again. #11 Sun Of Makfi wouldn't surprise from the good draw with slight improvement. 

Race 8: Cameron Handicap 

#3 Dancing Fighter couldn't have looked more impressive when crossing the line first in a recent barrier trial and he rates strongly for the red-hot Fownes/Moreira combination. #12 Joyful Fortune's bubble was burst first-up. Still, he is a talent and that run holds him in good stead for this, especially with Jerry Chau's seven-pound claim in use. #5 Valiant Dream has been consistent without winning down the Sha Tin straight. Keep safe. #1 Cruising has to lug the weight but was a tidy winner two starts ago. 

Race 9: Granville Handicap 

#14 Skyey Supreme can roll forward form gate two and from there, take plenty of catching with next to no weight on his back. #9 Party Everyday will need a race run to suit but he should be able to finish off strongly. #1 Touch of Luck gets a welcome relief in grade now back in Class 3. He gets the apprentice claim and is a three-time winner on the dirt. #2 Right Choice has the ability it's just a matter of recapturing it. 

Race 10: Ashley Handicap 

#3 Red Desert is a two-time winner in this grade over this course and distance. He closed nicely first-up to snare fourth and with improvement, he is open to taking another step forward here. #1 Will Power shoots for his third consecutive win. He's still on the up but does need to lug more weight and this contest is difficult. #12 Sunny Boy draws poorly but is a dirt specialist. He can roll forward and make his own luck. #4 Encore Boy is next best.
