Race 1: Po Tin Handicap

#9 Fox Cheunger is a winner already this term. He's been competitive all season and he warrants respect now down in the handicap. #2 Universal Crown gets handy five-pounds removed thanks to apprentice Jerry Chau's claim. He's shown he is closing in on a first win, especially in this grade. #11 Tigerlad is worth keeping safe as a winner four starts ago. #12 For Fun's Sake is a costly commodity but his most recent run was by far and away his best.

Race 2: Mei Tin Handicap

#4 Seven Heavens looks like he's ready to run a big race having switched back from the dirt to the turf. He's logged a number of impressive finishes over this course and distance; the booking of Joao Moreira also signals intent. #13 Sparkling Dolphin is consistent in his spot and did win over this course and distance exactly five starts ago. He gets his chance down in the weights. #2 Wild West Wing has the runs on the board. He steps back in grade which is suitable. #7 Eevee steps out on debut. Zac Purton is engaged so he could well be above average for his first time going to the races.

Race 3: Kwong Tin Handicap

#2 Brilliant Fortune has done well since his debut three starts ago, having twice finished runner-up. Suspect he's racing well enough to go on with it here under Joao Moreira. #5 Joyful Fortune owns a blistering 55.07s personal best over this course and distance. His best would blow this bunch away, however, he has struggled since his debut win to recapture that form. #3 Metro Warrior is competitive in his spot. #1 Good View Clarico is next best.

Race 4: Yan Tin Handicap

#6 Sure Win Win trialled well on the dirt recently and he looks set to make an impression at his first try on the surface under race conditions. Jerry Chau takes five pounds off and he only needs to offset the wide gate to be competitive. #3 Regency Gem rocketed home from the rear of the field to win last time out. Producing another herculean performance will be difficult but he's not worth discounting. #9 Shinealot is looking to go one better after finishing second last time out. Zac Purton's engagement bears close watching. #1 Dragon Commander is in form and racing well. He's next best.

Race 5: On Yam Handicap

#5 Monster Kaka had excuses last start when finishing eighth under Zac Purton. He can turn his form around with a clean run from gate seven. A first Hong Kong win is close. #4 Packing Award has mixed his form but has shown considerable talent early on. Zac Purton sticks aboard here and he's worth keeping safe. #2 Zone D is racing well. He's nothing short of consistent and is a chance from gate three. #1 Unicornbaby can find the front under apprentice Alfred Chan. He'll take running down.

Race 6: Ping Tin Handicap

#7 Blotting Paper can roll forward and play catch me if you can. Suspect he's ready to win again off a mark that he previously succeeded off earlier this season by over four lengths. #1 Double Take is in sublime form. The five-pound claim from Alfred Chan helps and he has the class edge on this field. #9 Chater Pins is closing in on a first Hong Kong win. Don't discount. #13 Fairy Floss is looking for back-to-back wins. He steps up in grade though which is a slight concern but does get a handy shift in weight.

Race 7: On Ting Handicap

#6 Durham Star is on the steady improve. He looks ready to take the next step after a solidly closing fourth-placed effort last time out over this course and distance. #3 Victory Scholars has knocked up two runner-up efforts from just three starts. He draws well and shapes as the main danger, especially with Zac Purton sticking aboard. #10 Infinite Power is racing well. He won't be too far away. #12 Breeze Of Spring slots in light ahead of his second start for new trainer Caspar Fownes. Further improvement is expected.

Race 8: Lai On Handicap

#11 Drops Of God couldn't have been more impressive when winning on debut last month. He steps up in grade but does appear an above average horse. #1 Winner Method goes around the bend for the first time. This looks like a race between these two. #7 Telecom Jac has done well so far across only four starts in Hong Kong. Suspect with further improvement he can be even more competitive. #4 Ima Single Man has ability but is struggling to piece it all together. Still, he's worth keeping safe.

Race 9: Lee On Handicap

#6 Perfect Pair has been racing in excellent form. Surprisingly he isn't a winner this season yet but his recent form and pairing with Zac Purton indicates that a win is coming. #1 The Hulk is looking to strike up a hat-trick of wins. He remains in Class 3 which suits and bears close watching with apprentice Alfred Chan engaged. #11 Cheerful Days has a stack of ability on his day. He can figure with a clean run and low weight. #13 Leap Of Faith is turned his form around last start. He only needs to offset gate 12 to be competitive here.

Race 10: Chung On Handicap

#10 Flagship Glory is racing well and should relish getting out to the mile once again. He's a course and distance winner and another here would not surprise. #12 Looking Great is looking for a hat-trick of wins but does face a steep jump into Class 2. Still, Joao Moreira sticks aboard and he's worth keeping an eye on. #8 Lakeshore Eagle closed off nicely at Happy Valley last start. He'll relish the return to Sha Tin. #3 Circuit Three is competitive on his day. He mixes his form but is capable of bouncing back here.
