Race 1: Tung Wan Shan Handicap

#1 California Legend draws well and should find the front. He's a winner in this grade previously and with even luck he could take catching under apprentice Jerry Chau. #2 Figures Two closed off with plenty of merit in this grade last start. Suspect he can take another step forward here. #10 Ka Ying Brilliance is racing well and draws a good gate for jockey Zac Purton. He's another who should a chance up on the pace. #14 Keep Winning has dipped to a career-low mark of 10. Perhaps with no weight on his back he can show something.

Race 2: Sai Wan Shan Handicap

#9 Treasure Of Field lacked a bit on debut but has since gone back to the trials and done well. Suspect he can put his best foot forward here from the good gate with Chad Schofield engaged. #1 Blaze Warrior won with plenty in hand on debut. No doubt he can take another step forward and be competitive again albeit with top-weight allotted. #12 Smart Wongchoy is nothing short of consistent. Don't discount. #11 Tronic Mighty has more ability than his record suggests. He draws well and has claims.

Race 3: Shouson Hill Handicap

#12 The Full Bloom is down to a mark he can very easily win off. He's already a winner in this grade and with no weight on his back he can flourish for Matthew Poon and David Hall. #3 Super Kin draws well and is open to improvement here. This is a suitable grade for him. #6 Winning Strikes is another on the steady improve. Neil Callan hops up and with even luck he should be able to figure in the finish. #10 Fox Cheunger closed off nicely last start. Expect better again.

Race 4: Sheung Yeung Shan Handicap

#11 Oh Bravo closed off nicely last start albeit being beaten into second by nine lengths. That winner, however, is showing excellent qualities and against this field with no weight on his back, he gets his chance. #5 Lady First gets a handy five pounds taken off thanks to Jerry Chau's apprentice claim. Suspect he can roll forward and give this field something to run down. #13 Dragon Commander is nothing short of consistent with three consecutive runner-up efforts to his name. He draws wide but slots in light and shouldn't be too far away once again. #2 Piano Solo has ability but is struggling to piece it all together. Wouldn't be surprised, however, if he bounced out of the ground very soon.

Race 5: Needle Hill Handicap

#10 Entrusted mixes his form but is racing well overall and does appear suited to the step up in trip now, especially with no weight on his back. He's worth taking a chance on. #13 Superbella demolished his rivals before fading to seventh last time out. He's not without a hope of returning to his best here. #7 Above looks well placed to go one better after finishing second last start. He draws well and does own three course and distance wins. #6 Arrogant can roll forward from gate one and give this lot something to run down. He might be worth an each way play at odds.

Race 6: Shek Nga Shan Handicap

#1 Dragon Fortune is a lightly raced talent with his fair share of ability. Surprised he isn't a multiple winner already but still, he gets his chance again in this grade. #2 Victory Scholars is racing well and should be in contention. He's a three-time placegetter who is expected to fight out the finish again. #4 Light Of Wanshi is looking for back-to-back wins. Don't discount albeit from the awkward gate. #13 Brilliant China slots in light and should be thereabouts.

Race 7: Nam Long Shan Handicap

#8 Gold Comet couldn't have been more impressive when winning by nine lengths last time out. He steps up in grade but his latest effort is impossible to ignore. #3 So We Joy is proving a formidable force on the dirt. He commands respect. #14 Unite Spirit gets in on the minimum with a good gate. He can make his chances count. #6 Star Of Yuen Long draws poorly but does have enough ability to be competitive here.

Race 8: Mount Nicholson Handicap

#12 Xiang Yin is on the steady improve. He's been plagued by injuries across his career but now, does appear to be on the right track for connections with sound health. #13 Cheerful Days has a stack of ability. He's very good when he puts his best foot forward and from gate four with a clean run, he should get his chance to do exactly that. #10 Leap Of Faith is racing well and commands respect again with Joao Moreira up. #7 Horsesain Bolt is worth considering having finished runner-up his last two runs over this course and distance.

Race 9: Mount Cameron Handicap

#6 Mighty Valor could well roll forward and prove difficult to reel in for jockey Matthew Poon. This is a hot little contest but from the front he gets his chance to catch this bunch flat-footed. #10 Drops Of God was a brilliant debut winner before finishing a commendable third last time out. He looks the main threat. #8 War Of Courage is a steady and consistent performer. He draws low and rates as an on-pace chance. #3 When You Believe has a stack of ability. The draw suits as does the booking of Zac Purton.

Race 10: Lai Pek Shan Handicap

#3 Naboo Attack won in style on debut and he looks well placed to string another together here. He only needs to offset the wide gate but in his favour is the services of Zac Purton. #5 Mr Croissant has found his mark. He draws awkwardly in 14 but still, he closed off for a solid second last start and it wouldn't surprise to see him go one better here. #6 Roman Turbo has class and is a force to be reckoned over this course and distance. He can bounce back from finishing seventh last start. #11 Trillion Win draws well and is next best.
