With top-ups for the Triple Trio and the Quartet & First 4 Merged Pool for the first day and night race meetings, as well as jackpots carried forward, a total of $70 million in prizes will be up for grabs at the start of the new racing season commencing on Sunday, 5 September.
For the season's opening meeting at Sha Tin Racecourse, the total prize will reach $35 million.
The Triple Trio jackpot will be topped up to $19 million, with the dividend estimated to reach $33 million for a single $10 winning unit.
In addition, the Quartet & First 4 Merged Pool will be topped up with a $2 million jackpot, with $1 million allocated to both the third leg of the Triple Trio and the last race.
The first night race meeting at Happy Valley Racecourse on Wednesday, 8 September, will also carry a total prize of $35 million.
The Triple Trio jackpot will be topped up to $10 million, with a single $10 winning unit expected to reap a dividend of up to $17 million.
The Quartet & First 4 Merged Pool of the third leg of the Triple Trio and the last race will each be topped up with a jackpot of $1 million, totaling $2 million jackpot for the Merged Pool.
Furthermore, as jackpots are being carried over to the 1st Double Trio and Six Win Bonus on Wednesday, the estimated dividend on a single $10 winning unit could reach $3 million and $13 million respectively.
