Race 1: Mount Parker Handicap

#2 Dazzling Feeling is beginning to show something down in grade. The step down to Class 5 is proving suitable and the dip in trip to seven furlongs looks a positive this weekend. #6 This Is Charisma caught the eye with a hard-held, quiet trial just last weekend. He only needs to offset the awkward gate to be ultra-competitive here. #4 Formula Excel showed a bit of dash in his most recent trial. Joao Moreira taking the reins is a bonus. #8 Jungle Blaze is next best from gate two.

Race 2: Lantau Peak Handicap

#7 Super Axiom has a tremendous cruising speed which could prove too classy. Chances are he rolls forward here as usual. He'll take catching. #2 Green Aeon won first-up over this course and distance last term. He looks well placed to fire upon resumption. #1 Good View Clarico is quality down the straight. Don't discount. #8 Super Win Dragon is lightly raced but does appear to have his fair share of ability. He gets his chance.

Race 3: Yi Tung Shan Handicap (1st Section)

#2 Biz Power has a bit of class about him having knocked up a number of close-up finishes in Class 3. The drop down in grade here looks more than suitable. He's the one to beat if he can offset the awkward gate. #1 Packing Victory scored a top win on debut last term at Happy Valley in this grade. He looks to have a number of rating points left in hand and he gets his chance from gate four with Zac Purton up. #3 Casa De Forca is not without a hope under Karis Teetan. #12 Happy Time is next best with no weight in his back.

Race 4: HKSAR Chief Executive's Cup Handicap

#8 Winning Dreamer is a high-class animal having won his first six starts on the bounce. Since then, he was found with blood in his trachea and subsequently has been winless across four outings. Suspect he can continue his ascent up the handicap following a two-month spell to recharge. #12 Naboo Attack couldn't have been more impressive on debut. He slots in light with just 113lb allotted and this contest looks like a suitable starting point. #2 Lucky Patch should roll forward to offset gate 10. #5 Rattan is next best. A fast pace is likely and this should suit him down to the ground.

Race 5: Kowloon Peak Handicap

#1 Lucky Maryknoll is on the cusp of a breakthrough win and her latest trial effort was solid. She draws well and with the right run this contest looks suitable. #9 Kwai Chung Elite is solid on his day. He was a strong winner two starts ago and a return to the winners' enclosure would not surprise here. #2 Zacian gets the services of Zac Purton. He bears close watching here first-up for the new barn. #7 Fox Cheunger is in form and rates with a chance.

Race 6: Lin Fa Shan Handicap

#6 Nervous Witness looks well placed to run well first-up in Hong Kong. He caught the eye at the trials and this contest looks like his for the taking. #3 Spicy So Good is lightly raced but showing plenty of early toe. The inside gate suits, as does the booking of Joao Moreira. #1 Cordyceps Six is racing well and he looks to have held his condition over the off-season. #14 Who Loves The Ace has the ability and the light weight should afford him every opportunity.

Race 7: Yi Tung Shan Handicap (2nd Section)

#9 Viva Hunter caught the eye in a recent trial and he has shown significant improvement between seasons. He draws well and slots in light for this first-up assignment. #3 President's Choice has his fair share of ability as a two-time winner in Hong Kong. He caught the eye in a recent trial and he rates as a leading player. #7 Touch Faith is proving a difficult commodity to get a gauge on but he does have a bit of talent. He can figure here. #1 Turbo Power is an American-bred galloper. He can continue his climb up the handicap here.

Race 8: Ma On Shan Handicap

#3 Cheerful Leader rates strongly over this course and distance. He's a winner off this mark previously and from gate one he should get every possible chance. #10 Dragon Commander is looking for a third consecutive win. He's racing well and appears to have held his condition nicely between the break. #7 El Jefe catches the eye with Zac Purton engaged. He mixes his form at times but his best should see him prove competitive. #8 Ezra has the ability and draws well. Don't discount.

Race 9: Sunset Peak Handicap

#1 Super Oasis makes a welcome drop to Class 3 and his recent form has been sound enough to expect a big first-up run. #2 Hall Of Champ looks like he's been set for this race off the back of an impressive trial recently. He's worth supporting on a win and place line. #3 Lucky Fun is incredibly consistent with six top-two efforts from his past six runs, including three wins. #6 Kasi Farasi draws well and gets his opportunity.

Race 10: Tai Mo Shan Handicap

#4 E Star is racing well and does perform strongly over this course and distance. Gate one should see him do next to no work in the run and from there have enough in the tank finish off best. #5 Master Montaro could find himself in a tricky position early on from gate 13. Still, the ability is there but he needs luck and because of this he might be worth opposing. #9 Mister Snowdon burst onto the scene with a stylish second-up win in this grade last term. Gate four gives him every chance to go back-to-back here. #6 Roman Turbo mixes his form but his best is up to this. Don't discount.
