Race 1: Windy Gap Plate

#9 Smart Idea moved freely in a recent barrier trial at Conghua. He finished close under a strong hold and off that, looks ready to run a race on debut. #5 Turbo Power quickened nicely in his most recent barrier trial. He looks ready to fire first-up. #2 Great King gets the services of Zac Purton for his debut. He bears close watching. #10 Super Kingdom is next best.

Race 2: Tai Tam Gap Handicap

#10 Xiang Lan Qi turned in a career-best third last time out. He looks ready to improve off that effort. #9 Viva Mama mixes his form but does get the services of Joao Moreira. He's well placed to run a bold race. #3 Carry The Diamond hasn't been flash of late but is a threat down the straight. #5 Valiant Elegance gets a handy seven-pound claim. That's key to his chances in a rather competitive contest.

Race 3: Violet Hill Handicap

#6 M M Johnny closed off nicely last start. He's open to further improvement here as he steps up in trip from a better draw. #2 Galaxy Emperor gets a handy claim from apprentice Jerry Chau. He's consistent and it wouldn't surprise to see him bounce back. #8 Sure Win Win has more ability than his record suggests. He's capable of bouncing out of the ground at any time. #11 Moneymore is next best in this grade.

Race 4: Pottinger Peak Handicap

#10 Sugamo looks poised to feature prominently on debut. He caught the eye at the trials and looks ready to fire first-up under Joao Moreira. #9 Huge Tiger is another who steps out on debut. He's shown a considerable about of ability at the trials. #5 Goko is proven down the straight as a five-time course and distance winner. He has race experience on his side. #3 Take What You Need is next best.

Race 5: Siu Ma Shan Handicap

#7 Rhapsody can bounce back to his best here following a short break. He's a one-time course and distance winner who can feature prominently from gate three with Joao Moreira engaged. #5 Gluck Racer closed nicely for third last start. He's open to further improvement off the back of a strong debut performance. #3 Divine Era draws well and is showing considerable talent early on. He can figure. #9 Branding Power is next best.

Race 6: Stanley Gap Handicap (1st Section)

In a difficult contest, #5 Zelus catches the eye. Prior to his debut struggle, he actually trialled rather well from out in front and, if he is to roll forward from gate five, he just may well give a good sight. #4 My Ecstatic has done everything right except win. Still, he gets his chance again with Zac Purton in the plate. #1 Green Reign steps down in grade. He has ability and it wouldn't surprise to see him go on with it. #8 Light Of Wanshi is next best from the inside draw.

Race 7: Stanley Gap Handicap (2nd Section)

#3 Dandy years is racing well. He's still on the up and the inside gate should afford him every opportunity once again. #1 Master Hero draws well and is racing in supreme form at the moment. He can continue his ascent through the grades. #2 Everyone's Delight has seen his form slip a touch but on his day he is capable of beating this bunch. With that in mind, he's worth keeping safe. #9 Green Envy slots in light and draws well for Joao Moreira. Chances are he rolls forward and gives himself every opportunity.

Race 8: D'Aguilar Peak Handicap

#2 Courier Wonder has been dominant in both of his wins and if he continues to run up to that level here, then he is the one to beat as he aims for a third unbeaten win. #1 All In Mind has the class to be competitive. #4 Good View Clarico can finish in the money, while #6 Speedy Mouse has claims off the back of a last-start fourth-placed effort.

Race 9: Mount Butler Handicap

#5 Beluga steps up in trip. He's given every indication that the step up in trip will suit and in this contest, off the back of a win, he's worth taking a chance on. #10 Looking Great is another who'll relish the added distance. He closed off nicely last start over the mile and is aided by the booking of Joao Moreira. #8 Champion Supreme is competitive over these sort of distances at the big track. #6 Vincy is next best.

Race 10: Ma Kong Shan Handicap

#5 Fantastic Treasure is looking to remain unbeaten with a third consecutive win. He draws well and off the back off his most recent two wins, does look awfully hard to beat. #3 Beauty Fit did well on debut to finish a close-up third. He'll have taken plenty of benefit from that run and shapes as the main danger. #10 True Legend slots in light with a good gate. He won't be too far away. #11 Perfect Pair is another who gets in light. He can finish off.

Race 11: Cheung Lin Shan Handicap

#6 Silver Express draws well and should find the front from gate three. Joao Moreira hops up and appears capable of taking luck out of the equation and going home best. #8 Roman Turbo has gone from strength-to-strength since his arrival in Hong Kong. He draws awkwardly but did post an ultra-impressive last time out. #10 Flagship Glory is looking to bounce back. This contest looks more than suitable after struggling over 10 furlongs in the Hong Kong Derby last start. #3 Super Wealthy is next best. Gate 14 will make like awfully difficult though.
