Race 1: Frigatebird Handicap

Small and tricky stayers contest to kick off the card. #3 Awe has been racing well at Sha Tin and should appreciate the extra furlong on offer here. Strong booking of Zac Purton suggests a strong showing is indicated. #5 Lucky Diamond is after a hat-trick of wins. He's turned a corner this season and does appear suited getting up in trip. #7 Go Ballistic slots in light. He's a two-time winner from three starts this term. #4 Victorious Seeker also should relish the added distance. Don't discount as a last-start winner.

Race 2: Mesia Handicap

#10 Winning Strikes looks to have turned a corner between seasons. He's trialled impressively at Conghua and it wouldn't surprise to see him put his best foot forward here. He gets in light and is expected to play catch me if you can. #5 Enjoy My Life is first-up this term and pairs with Zac Purton. He can improve now in Class 5. #9 Cigar Buddies is chasing back-to-back wins. Don't discount. #1 Casa Kingdom has more ability than his form lets on. He showed last-start that this grade of racing suits him.

Race 3: Albatross Handicap (1st Section)

#2 Inno Legend is after back-to-back wins. He took a while to get off the mark but he's always shown ability and now, with that win under his belt, it wouldn't surprise to see him add another. #6 Savvy Delight steps out on debut. He's looked solid in his trials and his pairing with Zac Purton for his debut signals intent. #11 Moon Peaks is a light weight chance from the inside gate. He can figure with a forward position throughout. #5 Master Aqua struggled on debut. He can turn his fortune around.

Race 4: Nightjar Handicap

#7 This Is Charisma is unlucky not to already be a winner in Hong Kong. Still, he's done well this term and does get favourable conditions here. #3 Wah May Luck turned his form around to grab third last start. It wouldn't surprise to see him improve even further. #8 Diamond Star is racing well in this grade. The wide gate harms his chances but he's shown enough prowess to warrant consideration. #4 Super Hong Kong looks as if he'll relish getting back in distance. Don't discount.

Race 5: The Hong Kong Golf Club Centenary Cup Handicap (2nd Section)

#8 Wins All won first-up last preparation. He flies fresh and his trials leading up to this contest have been nothing short of impressive. Expect he rolls forward and tries to pinch this. #3 Prance Dragon did well to score last time out. He gets a touch more weight but still, remaining in Class 4 is suitable. #2 A Smile Like Yours is in easily career-best form. He gets another opportunity here with Joao Moreira hopping aboard. #5 E Legend has looked sound ahead of his debut. Expect a forward showing with Jerry Chau engaged.

Race 6: Robin Handicap

#4 Escape Route closed off nicely last start despite the circumstances at the rear of the field. He did well without a chance that day from the back and it wouldn't surprise to see him turn in an improved effort. Joao Moreira sticks aboard which is a plus. #9 Sergeant Pepper links with Zac Purton. He did well on debut but was caught wanting last time out. He can turn it around, especially from gate two. #11 Triple Triple mixes his form but on his day he is class. #1 Decisive Twelve is better than his form suggests. Next best.

Race 7: Albatross Handicap (3rd Section)

Expect #1 Colonel to find the front here. He'll need to do a bit of work early to cross the field but if he can without using too much petrol then he rates as the one to run down. #3 Dassit makes his debut after several trials. He's shown notable improvement each time and the booking of Joao Moreira for his first run is a good push. #2 Happy Tango has the runs on the board. He too should roll forward and get his opportunity. #7 Pride Of Dragon has claims from gate one.

Race 8: Sand Martin Handicap

#5 Gift Of Lifeline closed off nicely last start. He should be fit with three runs under his belt and the added distance looks a plus also. #3 Tianchi Monster is due a win. He's been racing with plenty of merit of late and it wouldn't surprise to see him get across the line in first here. #2 Leap Of Faith returns to Happy Valley where he does his best racing. Expect a forward showing at his preferred course. #11 Total Power finished a close-up third last time out. He slots in light and gate four enhances his claims.

Race 9: Tern Handicap

#4 Rock Ya Heart has a bit of class and he looks suited here. Gate four should ensure he gets a nice run and he brings strong form lines to the city circuit having finished third last start to The Golden Scenery and Packing Victory. #1 Diamond Brilliant is racing in career-best form with three wins from his last five starts. Gate one and Zac Purton will ensure he gets every opportunity. #5 You'remyeverything won well on debut. He looks above average. #3 Family Folks can box on for prize money.
