Race 1: Amber Handicap

#1 Super Fast is racing well. Jerry Chau takes a key three pounds off his back and his best is up to winning here. #2 Joyful Heart is yet to race on the dirt but he has moved well on this surface in a number of trials. Expect he's up to contesting this and it wouldn't be surprising to see him roll forward to try and lead. #5 Toycoon is close to a first win. Expect improvement once more getting up in trip with Joao Moreira engaged. #9 Yes We Can turned his form around last start. He shouldn't be too far away.

Race 2: Aquamarine Handicap

#6 Run Run Good narrowly missed last time out. He loves the dirt and the engagement of Joao Moreira is a very good push. He rates as a serious chance here albeit from gate 10. #2 Amazing Knight has taken a liking to the dirt. He has claims, especially with Zac Purton retained. #5 General Trump is racing well. He narrowly missed last start and it wouldn't shock to see him go one better here. #8 Telecom Missile is next best for the Fownes and Ho combination.

Race 3: Garnet Handicap

#2 Vento showed shades on inexperience on debut but nevertheless, he's clearly a talent with a bright future. Expect further improvement as his workouts in Australia before import were devastating, especially around a bend. #1 Snowalot won nicely on debut at 9/1. Zac Purton sticks aboard and his experience holds him in very good stead. #3 Eason has done well in Hong Kong since his arrival. He looks set to make an impact on debut. #9 Above All has claims with three runs on the board.

Race 4: Jasper Handicap

#6 Telecom Elite looks to be making inroads of late. He's doing well and might be worth a throw at big odds here, especially for noted dirt trainer, Me Tsui. #4 Turf Brilliant doesn't live up to his name, instead, he prefers racing on the dirt. He's paired with Zac Purton once more and he gets his chance. #13 Shinealot has plenty of claims with no weight on his back. This contest is wide open and his lowly weight could prove pivotal. #7 El Valiente is in solid enough form. Respect.

Race 5: The Kowloon Tong Club Trophy Handicap

#10 Chiron has his fair share of ability. He's shown enough so far to suggest that a win was close, especially here against this lot from the inside gate. #9 Lucky Ruby needs the front. If he manages to cross and find it from out wide then he could prove very difficult to catch. He's a two-time winner on the dirt. #6 Fiery Diamond is open to improvement following a sound debut effort. #4 Smart Leader switches to the dirt now. Zac Purton sticks aboard which a good enough push regarding his chances.

Race 6: Onyx Handicap

Speed should be on here which will favour those at the rear. #14 Easy Fortune proved his worth first-up however since then has appeared to struggle. Still, he might be worth taking a chance on with conditions expected to suit. He should be big odds. #2 Pins Prince will have taken plenty of benefit from his first-up win. He can take another step forward. #12 Millennium Falcon is a supreme talent who is yet to show his best. He commands respect. #7 Nimble Nimbus is coming to hand. Next best.

Race 7: The Carbine Club Of Hong Kong 30th Anniversary Cup Handicap

#2 Californiadeepshot has trialled well on the dirt previously. Expect he can put his best foot forward here, especially at a price against a host of proven performers on the surface. His turf form holds him in good stead. #1 Will Power loves the surface and is bidding for back-to-back dirt course wins. #3 Silver Fig falls into a similar category following his devastating course and distance success last time out. He's in the form of his life. #9 Chancheng Prince is bred for the surface, coming from the United States. Expect a forward showing here.

Race 8: Opal Handicap

#11 Super Fortune looks a supreme talent off the back an eye-catching first win over this course and distance last start. He has a bright future and does appear more than adept in Class 3. #5 Nothing Impossible steps out on debut. Don't discount here down the straight off the back of a solid trial. He's coming to hand. Expect big value. #3 Metro Warrior knows how to run his race. He can contend here as he usually does with Zac Purton up. #10 Seizing The Moment is progressing. Joao Moreira takes the mount and is worth keeping safe.

Race 9: Peridot Handicap

#4 Ready Player One looks like he's hit the ground running in Hong Kong. This is a difficult contest but he should be able to make good account of himself first-up. You always know what you'll get with #12 Infinite Power. Expect he rolls forward and plays catch me if you can. #1 Ultra Express is a three-time winner from his last four starts. He once again is expected to run well, although, his hefty impost is shaping as a concern. #8 Gameplayer Times does his best racing on the dirt. He's next best in a deep contest.

Race 10: Tourmaline Handicap

#7 Perfect Pair hasn't won for a while. He's a winner in the grade below but at times, he has proven his worth at this level. This looks like a suitable starting point for him after he was withdrawn from his previous assignment at the starting gates. He's trialled well since that mishap and looks forward enough to test this group. #8 Gracylove has a bit of class. He has claims here. #3 Hall Of Champ knows how to win, especially over this course and distance. Expect a forward showing. #10 All Beauty is worth including.
